What was the outcome re costs? Did your fee get ordered paid, or reserved?
so the judge ordered them to serve claim firms within x days?

I asked for the costs to be paid back immediately and not reserved. I also asked for 14 days for the Claimant to file a new claim but the Judge gave them till January and 28 days for me to respond.

Indeed ... although perhaps the OP isn't sure. The order itself (when it comes through) should cover this - hopefully.
  • Thank you for this post. Gladstone have advised me of a CCJ for a car parking fine back in February. I disputed this and Gladstone advised their client had withdrawn their instruction and the case had been closed. Then I receive their letter!
    So stressful!

As they're already 255 down, plus the filing fee, I can see them discontinuing.
  • Hi all,
The long silence is due to waiting for the official order to arrive by post. It just arrived this morning and I can confirm that the court orders the claimant to pay my cost of £255. So i won't be out of pocket and I don't have to wait to recover my cost at the point at which I fight the original PCN charge.
All that I'm waiting for now is for the new claims papers
Did they give a time frame for paying the costs? Make sure you've received their payment in time else look at what enforcement actions are available to you.
