    Updates…

Finally the CCJ is removed from my record, and no longer shows on my credit report. I’ve also got a court date… June 2023

Bad news is the outstanding ‘debt’ is still showing on my credit report with Lantern Debt Recovery. I don’t know when a debt would show normally, could it be before the court finds against?

I’ve got a complaint open, but not getting anywhere fast with it. I also note they have put the account date as Jan 20, with default June 20… despite the fact the alleged overstay was July 20.

Should I have this dragging down my credit score until the court date next year, or are they in the wrong?

    thanks

They are in the wrong unless that default from early 2020 is something completely different...?

Lantern Debt Recovery is nothing to do with this. Parking tickets dont report to CRA'S.it is something completely different.
I hope your complaint doesnt mention parking tickets as it is not connected
    Some kind of bill
Contact them in writing to find what it relates to and then deal with it correctly

99% sure this is to do with the parking ticket. Gladstones wrote 17/02/22 to say CCJ gone against me 18/01/2022 - to be paid within 1 month (I like how they write 1 month and a day after), and threaten amongst others to "transfer the matter to an enforcement agency". They want £294.35 at this stage. Then letter 10/03/2022 from Lantern wanting £355.17 - don't think I've heard from Gladstones since. Although Lantern haven't chased as far as I know either.

I don't have any other debts or defaulted accounts, so can't see what else this could be.

Waiting since 12th Oct for a proper reply from Lantern, they only replied to ask me for the exact same DPA information I put on the original email to them. Will update when I find out.

Gladstones in-house bailiff arm is the fairly recently incorporated Empira.

    Guess I was wrong!

Spoke to Lantern, and it’s a debt to Klarna for something fraudulently purchased in my details! Arrgghhhh!

@jag_run Sorry to post on a old thread. I'm doing a complaint to CBCC to have my set aside cost refunded. Is this email the correct one that you used? CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk

    Many thanks

As per the e-mail address on the template defence thread but note the spelling, it is CCBC for County Court Business Centre.
