Please remove "My Badges" from the profile

I follow threads by going to my profile. To see threads I've commented on I have to scroll past "my badges". Its a pointless chore, it feels like there's a chair abandoned in the middle of the room that everyone has to walk around and nobody thinks to move.

If you believe we need badges, please explain why? Put them out of the way! If someone has a 10 year badge why show the 123456789 year badge?

Why the silly, part of the furniture, name dropper badges? We're not children, we don't need silly names.

WHY?

Having them under the username they're easily ignored but why have oversized versions in my profile? There is no reason for them to be there.

and what does "Activity" mean - often accompanied by "nothing happening here yet" ??????????????

We have badges?

To be fair, I rarely look at anyone's profile page so them being there doesn't bother me.

Think of all the electrons wasted displaying badges under everyones names when noone could care less about them.

The ones on every post under the username are irrelevant as they are easily ignored. Its the pointless displaying of them in "my profile" which has to be scrolled past when searching for threads you've commented on. Why does it need to be there?

Moaned about this when it first appeared after the revamp, needless to say it was ignored, who cares how many badges we've got?
