Waiting on Management pack

We are in the process of buying a freehold property with a communal/shared driveway. We recently were waiting for the management pack for weeks on end, given the fact that my solicitor is totally reactive and doesn't chase anything up I took it upon myself to call Bellway and ask them directly. A really helpful lady informed us there wasn't even a management company and responsibility for communal areas had been transferred to council.
I informed my solicitor who said this information had to come from our sellers solicitor - so I relayed this info via the sellers EA, who sent to our sellers solicitor who sent it back to our solicitor 🤦🏻♀️🙈
So inefficient. Our saga continues as we were finally ready to exchange last week after 6 months only to find out our buyers mortgage has expired.0 -
Hello, I am buying a freehold property. Everything is in place except the management pack. This is the only thing holding us up at the moment, can anyone shed some light on how much longer we will have to wait? The whole process so far has been 5 months0

We are in our 4th week of waiting. Paid £312 to HML / Beehive for the management pack for our house. So we can send it to our buyer’s solicitor. They made a mistake and applied the money to a property in a different part of the country with a similar address.0

@Listlad i’ve just received my management pack from the same company!
paid - 10th oct
received - 15th nov
they quoted a 21 working day turnaround, which they missed, but i was very unimpressed with the service as they didn’t even send an email to acknowledge they’d received payment, which i kept chasing.

I sent them the below and it was returned shortly after.“Please can I request an update of my management leasehold pack, I paid for this DD/MM/YYYY and this should be received in 21 working days as per your email which is DD/MM/YYYYMy solicitor is waiting for this to move forward on exchange. If you need any further info, please ask.”—-
ps they charged me £432 (£360 + vat) 🤔 but did originally quote £360 (£300 + vat) i feel like they make the figures up as they go along.
hope this helps!1
