That would be for a call centre style headset that either only has one earpiece, or it has two but only provides mono sound.donnajunkie said:
I notice though the fourth picture has 3 sections and says one is for a mic.Cornucopia said:
Headphones that do not have a microphone usually have a 3-connector 3.5mm plug.

What is your opinion on the headphones in the opening post? Sony themselves have been reluctant to commit to saying they would serve my purpose.Cornucopia said:

Look at Audio Technica, Check out the company. Love mine which are wired for use with a desktop pc but they do a wireless version. 3 years old now and I've burnt my ears out (I heard that. Pardon??). But headphones going strong. Just might fit your bill.

Although I understand the technology, I'm not really an audiophile. I listen to music most often through the car stereo and through my Amazon Echo Dot (which has a great sound, but only mono).donnajunkie said:What is your opinion on the headphones in the opening post? I do have a set of JBL Bluetooth, noise cancelling headphones in a price bracket some way below the options you have been looking at. (I paid £60). Personally, I wouldn't spend mega money on a product that is going to probably have quite a hard life and may well end up getting broken or lost.2 -
They will work with the PS4, but, not via BT...You have to connect them by wire to the controller.donnajunkie said:Can you believe sony have told me that they arent licenced to work with their sony ps4.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Mono and great sound do not compute. Unless you are Van Gogh

Buy from John Lewis and if for whatever reason you do not like them, take back for no quibble refund."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
Ride hard or stay home :iloveyou:2 -
People have always listened to mono equipment, and some cheap end stereo equipment doesn't really do justice anyway.Elmer_BeFuddled said:

I paid £22 for each Amazon Echo Dot - I have 2 in 2 different rooms. I haven't tried the stereo config using 2 devices, but I can imagine it sounding excellent.2 -
with the usb-c cable? i note though next to the slot on the ps4 controller theres a seperate slot for a mic. i presume as i have no need for the ability to communicate that it wont matter if nothing is plugged into that mic slot on the controller?RumRat said:
