The Halifax app as well doesn't work on my Xiaomi phone! I have contacted them via chat, I am waiting 2 weeks already for an answer! Every time when an agent hit the button an chat with me, ask the same silly question, I said every time, check my history above on chat!boatman said:The Halifax app fingerprint doesn't work on my Xiaomi, all other banking apps work fine, so it's definitely a Lloyds Halifax thing..It just annoys when they clearly know there is a problem yet they won't admit it, and try to get you to jump through hoops as if it's your fault!!0 -
This is interesting. I got a Xiaomi on Black Friday and only finished setting it up the other night. All is good apart from the fingerprint function not working with my Lloyds app. It works fine on all my other Android devices. So there's no fix then?Byzar said:

The fingerprint agent appears to load and then error with my device, then I just get the password login.0 -
I have a Xiaomi mi 9t & have always had lloyds/Halifax fingerprint issue. I use the miui EU rom & the update from last week fixed it completely. So not sure if it's been fixed at app or rom level but at least it's definitely possible...1

The issue is with the rom, it throws an incorrect fingerprint message to the app. The Halifax and Lloyds apps only allow one fingerprint and if there's an error it asks for the passcode/password. So a problem on both ends. All other banking apps or apps that require fingerprint login work fine."Real knowledge is knowing the extent of one's ignorance."1

Update: It's now working for me on my Xiaomi Note 10 Lite with the new MIUI 12.1.1.0 update that came out last week. Not sure if this is what fixed it, but I can confirm both Halifax and Lloyds apps now both work with fingerprint login.
