Received more frantic texts today.  Burned the phone lines and sending emails to housing etc trying to get help for him.  Gave him some contacts to be told he'd applied to university, been accepted and he didn't need any help.  Feel a bit manipulated.  We had talked (nicely) about options for his future.  Never once did he say he'd reapplied to university (he was turned down for a second year on his degree course last year).  I know he'd only just heard from Uni, but I didn't even know it was a chance.

So all that worry for nothing.  Glad he's ok of course and said well done but feel like I've been taken for a fool again.  Hope he enjoys his crowing time.  Yep he is.  Rather unpleasant.  I should have knows from the ' I will talk about anything with you to sort this out' texts followed by lots of blaming statements as to everything I was causing and doing wrong in his view.

Oh well, the crisis is over.
