Subject to slamming by BT/Vodafone

Hi there,
Just wondering if I can get some advice. I’ve been subject to slamming and it’s been incredibly stressful and I’ve been passed around by BT and it hasn’t been rectified.
On the 9th July I got a text through saying that someone was trying to take over my line. I didn’t request for it to be done, and I called up within 30 mins and asked for them to cancel that request. They didn’t action it and my account was cancelled and my FTTC connection ceased two weeks later. I had a final bill of £513 which I complained about and got that rectified. I called up when I got the final bill and when my account was cancelled and they said the request wasn’t actioned, and that I’d have to ring up the next day to order another FTTC connection.
I called up, was able to order a fibre connection and thought that would be it until I checked my order status and it said order ceased around mid day that same day. So I called up and they advised me to order a copper connection and then it would automatically switch to a fibre connection the next day so I ordered it and activation date was the 3rd.
I kept my router off however on the 29th I turned it on just to check everything and it was still syncing with fibre speeds, which I found very strange as I shouldn’t have a connection. I did a line test and noticed my landline number was changed. I called up BT once again, and they were confused as it didn’t say anything on their systems and didn’t say anything on your systems, however that landline number was part of the ADSL order.
I was told to wait until the 3rd August again and again told it would auto change on the 4th to the FTTC connection. Once again this didn’t happen. Whilst calling up in regards to my complaint on Sunday the manager told me it was due to capacity issues, but how did I have a FTTC connection if there were capacity issues?
Are you able to please let me know what I can do as BT are messing me around, and it’s been a really stressful month trying to get this sorted, as I’ve been messed about and it’s now gone passed a joke I've managed to request a deadlock letter, but I need to sort this out ASAP. Im getting no answers and I’ve just been told to ring up weekly when it isn’t anything I’ve done in the first place, and now i've got a connection an ADSL connection which now drops out daily when i'm doing training over zoom.
Regards
Hayden

I'd like to add that I have had to close the complaint down and take the offer of 3 months credit, but still doesn't resolve the issue in the first place0

Same thing happened and I'm STILL dealing with it. The customer service is awful and the ordering process is so convoluted and difficult, you just KNOW you're in for a lousy experience.
Too late for you, but as a warning to others, do NOT under any circumstances buy ANY product or service from Vodafone EVER. To my mind, they are are fraudulent organisation that does not operate honestly. There’s a reason they come at the BOTTOM of every customer satisfaction survey. Do NOT be seduced by any “deals” as these are illusory and it will take you YEARS to fix any problems. Better to just walk away immediately. Vodafone are woefully ill equipped to deal with even the SLIGHTEST issue. Call center staff are naturally useless, but all the head office staff are illiterate also. You won’t get a simple answer out of ANY of them.
I've found the culture at Vodafone is very much one of “lie, deny, and do nothing” which is something that as a paying customer you can do without. That comes from the top down. The CEO is an absolute joke and their "executive relations" team may as well be a bunch of interns for all the good they are.
PLEASE do not use Vodafone for anything. Use any other phone or broadband provider. You have been warned. I can provide details and correspondence to back up everything I say. Keep away. Dealing with Vodafone can seriously damage your health.
