@firsttimebuyerlpl we had to ring up to find out progress and if valuation had been booked , we are going through MA though

our EA emailed today to say the surveyor picked up the keys yesterday. Had two credit searches from Santander done on the 11th too. Hoping to hear something soon!

That’s exciting. Hoping that mine will be on similar timescales, i think we submitted our applications on the same date. Haven’t heard anything from the EA or broker so I am assuming/hoping that no news is good news.

Yeah I think they were submitted on the same dates. Haven’t heard anything back from our MA yet but assuming the underwriter will need to review etc before we hear anything.

update  today from beginning of week and being told valuation was being carried out on 27th of this month , surprise surprise confirmation of offer in post . So from applying to offer 18 days but letter was dated 18th  .

Ours took 19 days in total. Submitted our application on 6 Aug and received the offer on 25 Aug.

we spoke to MA today as we applied 3rd August , valuation had to be a physical one so not until 27th , she told us all paperwork has passed now await valuation decision, she should hear back tomorrow from Satander , here’s hoping we get news and can give removal company dates etc .Hubby is at the end of his tether , not had anytime off since Easter was waiting for move.

Hi, thought I’d follow this thread. 

Applied Santander 22/8
Im employed key worker, partner self employed (had seiss grant, but works good now).
Broker said desk valuation was done last week and case is now with underwriters (since when I’m unsure) 

He thinks we’ll get offer this week... after reading on here, I’m expecting questions re self employment... I’m not so optimistic. But fingers crossed

Had an email with mortgage offer! No details though, so waiting for info from broker, hope it’s the right amount 😬
