Santander Applications

Haven’t received any texts or email from Santander other than they’ve received our application. Nothing on my credit file just yet.

Im very jealous reading these. Santander have been super slow me for. I am remortgaging (staircasing on shared owenership flat). Santander wanted a cladding report which they received 4 weeks ago (mortgage application first done in jan) and it has only just finally finished valuation and thats been with my MB and solicitors chasing them daily to escalate this. I have found it a super slow process and frankly awful-they had a report for 3 weeks before even looking at it! They have now said offer should be given by tomorrow PM. I am not hopeful after the slow service thus far

Has anyone had their application ‘re-keyed’?

Basically we were at the stage of decision agreed subject to valuation (on the tracker), which I was waiting to hear about. Then suddenly a few days ago I received a new update with a totally new application number which had gone back to the ‘mortgage pack sent’ stage. 

I rang up and she told me nothing to worry about but nothing has changed on either application number for a few days. Anyone had anything similar?

We are currently waiting for a decision for remortgage , application text on Monday 3rd Aug . Hoping for good news and hate waiting process , no searches showing at present on either mine or OH credit file.

Hopefully we will hear something next week

MA has got us a AIP with Santander and we have had a offer accepted on a house so going in Monday to make full application. 

My husband is in full time secure employment and I am self employed so you can imagine I am all over the place just now worrying they may decline due to covid and self employed. 

Has anyone got any experience in what they will ask in regards to self employment? 

MA has all our paper work bank statements, payslips, and all my tax information so he would have had a good nosey at that before applying for AIP ( I hope) 

Any advice would be truly appreciated
