Blinds2Go claim that a non fitting blind is within their tolerance

  • Although they are making a replacement (within 28 days), they still made the point of saying the original was within their tolerances as stated in T&C’s so beware!
    I look forward to hearing if they fit :flushed:

    So the replacement blind arrived today after a long wait, and guess what? It’s 2mm wider than the original, which was already too big for the recess!!!! Amazing how they made the replacement worse than the faulty one.

    To top it off, they also supplied it with a pelmet that is supposed to fit outside of the recess this time, so it’s huge and has mitred edges! 

    I have emailed and just asked for my money back and I will return both blinds. Confidence is completely shattered in this company now.

    I am thinking of spending a bit more on some Next made to measure blinds, does anyone have experience of these? I guess Next customer service at least will be much better!

    I have just had blinds fitted. I asked for recommendations locally. Guy came round measured up , returned 3 weeks later and fitted them. For the price I paid I could have barely bought the blinds , and of course I had no hassle with sizing or fitting, something to consider maybe.

    Good Lord!  At this rate, it would be quicker to keep their blinds and put a bigger window in.

    Exercise your Final Right To Reject per the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for goods that still fail to conform to contract after the seller has had their single opportunity to provide a remedy (replacement in this case). This entitles you to a full refund of all monies paid.

    I will do. I am giving them the chance to refund over the next couple of days. If nothing is heard then I will be back to AMEX to chargeback. So disappointing. If you made a mistake the first time, you would make sure the replacement was inspected properly, right?

    I can’t understand how a company can care so little.... Crazy!

    I would like to know please, If the recess option is selected for a double roller blind what will you provide me exactly in measurements

    1) what will be the "exact fabric" width you will provide me based on my measurement of the recess in cm

    2) what will be the "exact" bracket to bracket width you will provide me based on my measurement of the recess cm
