Excessive parking fine - no contactless payment option during COVID times, any grounds?

  • Good idea, thank you. Yes I posted a screenshot of that sign that from the July 2020 photo they sent me in the SAR. But I can't read the smaller, non bold print to see if there are warnings about charges unfortunately. if it was a better photo or zoomed in, I would have a better sense of that.

    I have received a DQ and wondered if there are any particular central London courts that are seen as more favourable than others to small claims defendants? (I ask because there was a post earlier saying that there are certain courts PCs repeatedly request for their hearings that are unlikely to be favourable to the defendant.) Also wanted to check that I understand correctly that I do NOT send in a WS at this stage but when I receive the court hearing notice?

    I think most small claims parking cases are sent to one central London Court, regardless. And the same Judges cover the area anyway, and it will be pot luck which Judge you get for a likely phone or video hearing.
