What payment deadline is that?  Are you going to pay them? 😮
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • I don't think I have the option not to do I? I'm self employed and can't afford to cover legal fees for a court case if it comes to that and I lose.

A loss in court is about £100 or less in legal fees , plus the £100 for the PCN , making £200 or less in total

There are no "legal fees" in court. Total cost for a single PCN, TOTAL, is £200 is less.
Youre not even likely to go to court. They arent big court attendees and we have an excellenet win rate. It just takes some time from you.

No-one pays Armtrac.    NOT A SINGLE POSTER HERE.  NO-ONE TOLD YOU TO PAY.

Have you not read any Armrac threads out of the thosands of results?!

Have you not read the sticky thread post #2 that tells you 99% of people here win in court?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No court hearings listed for Armtrac in 2019.
  • ah ok. Is that £200 based on if they do manage to take you to court and you lose? my grounds for appeal seem less strong than some of the other respondents on this thread. but if the likelihood of being taken to court is very low then I am prepared to stand my ground. I found it a bit confusing from the thread to know what to do. Would I just wait for the inevitable debt-collector letters and court threats once the payment 'deadline' passes and then send the relevant letters as per the instructions on forum Parking - Letter Before County Court Claim (LBCCC) - Fight back! Guidance thread?

Yes and we only lose 1% of the time and I believe Castle when he says, in 2019 there were no Armtrac court hearings and I don't recall any in 2020 either, so they are not exactly prolific.

    Good.  As does everyone here.

NO!  Whre the heck did you dredge that ancient thread up from?  NO.

The NEWBIES thread post #2 tells you what to do and post #3 tels you clearly NOT to try IAS>
Not sure how much clearer the NEWBIES FAQS thread can make it...
