Every little bit is going to help get people back into work.1

I am doing everything I can to help out using this scheme - so much that I really do feel like a SuperHero because of all the helping I am getting under my belt. Bit concerned, though, it is only day three and I am starting to feel like Mr Blobby

Off out for a steak tonight. £20 for 2. Local farm produce as well. You've got to enjoy life everyday as the time will simply pass........1

Walking dogs last night, thought it’s a warm night, let’s have an ice cream. We got to the ice cream shop just as it lowered it’s shutter. As I now had ice cream on my brain we decided to stop at McDonalds for a McFlurry. The guy said if you take a seat outside you can have it half-price. Two McFlurrys for 99p. Not sure that is in the spirit of the thing, but very MSE. We would probably have been over a fiver for two real ice creams.0

Sometimes i feel great when little efforts we put into helping out others. It really brings out the true humanity in ourselves being selfless and helping others by providing food and shelter for the needful people out there. its our responsibility as privileged humans to help the ones in need.

I was amazed that my large cappuccino and muffin in Costa was £2 , I hadn’t realised it applies to anything as opposed to meal (ie lunch or dinner) my daughter was mortified when she realised as she had bought a take out drink in the same branch and was quite rightly charged full price. Definitely something dodgy with the OP restaurant, I would be calling and asking them and if they aren’t helpful asking again via social media, they could well be claiming the money off the government as well as charging full price.0

Our local clearly showed the £10 off as discount per head. We're definately going to be eating out more. Next is an Italian where the main courses aren't even £10!0

We went out on Tuesday for lunch at a local pub, had a very nice meal and received £20 off the bill (£10x2)
I figured that as unfortunately the magic money tree really doesn’t exist and we would be paying for it anyway, we might as well take advantage of the offer and get some benefit from it. 😉☺️A cunning plan, Baldrick? Whatever it was, it's got to be better than pretending to be mad; after all, who'd notice another mad person around here?.......Edmund Blackadder.1 -
Went to a local pub this evening with my sister and husband. She has a loyalty card for this place and it gives you 25% discount on a Wednesday . Ate our lovely meal and when the bill came she gave them her card but they did not take off the 25% discount. We asked the manager and he said oh that doesn’t apply with the Eat Out scheme . We said it’s supposed to but he said you’ve already had 50% off . We pointed out that money was coming from the government not yourselves! Shame as my
sister lives nearby and regularly eats there. It’s not what the scheme says should happen0
