  • Just a few details to allow you fellow members to guide me correctly..The car was parked on a car park and i remember queing to obtain a ticket, due to observing social distancing guide lines.A ticket for an hour was displayed due to a shortage of change and no facilities to use an app etc...Whilst making our way back to the car the dog my wife was holding caused her to trip causing an injury to her knee resulting in a slower and painful return to the car...we left the car park about 10mins after the ticket expired.......advice please .browserbaz

Which bit of "Read the NEWBIE sticky and don't hijack other people's threads" was misleading.  If you put all your details in YOUR thread, you will receive bespoke advice.  It becomes confusing when regulars try to answer more than one poster in the same thread.

Read the NEWBIES thread - it is VITAL you understand not to talk abut who parked/what you did.

No replies here please because this is someone else's thread.  Hitting 'new post' is NOT starting a 'new thread'.

    Hi all

i just wanted to ask a question as I have been reading various threads and am starting to confuse myself.  Not sure how much detail I can give so will try to keep it brief.
I have a claim form dated 6/11.  I have not replied to the previous PCN or letter from them requesting payment.  So far today I have sent an SAR request.  My question is do I just do an AoS on the 11/11 via the MCOL site and send an email to the solicitors today and is that email the ‘template of defence’ as advised by @KeithP or is that something different?

    Thanks in advance

Is this related to your earlier thread?

With a Claim Issue Date of 6th November, you have until Wednesday 25th November to file an Acknowledgment of Service. If possible, do not file an AoS before 12th November, but otherwise, there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 9th December 2020 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Now ask a board guide to merge your threads.

All discussion about one incident should be in one thread. You can't expect people to dash all over the forum to follow the story.

Please stick to ONE thread please as it can lead to confusion.  You do not send e-mails to solicitor.  Your questions leads me to assume you have not read the NEWBIE sticky, nor the advice to which @KeithP pointed you nor the advice on the template defence thread that you are using.  You submit your defence by using the e-mail address that is in the advice already given to you and it goes to the CCBC who will then send it on to the CLAIMANT, who may be the solicitor but equally could be the PPC.

You won't be sending anything to the solicitor , nothing at all , yet

You will be emailing a SAR to the DPO at the PPC

Pm soolin , Savvy or Crabman to get your two threads merged , one topic , one thread
