It took quite a bit of searching to find the ingredients of this lotion, but here they are:
Aqua/Water, Glycerin, Olea Europea/Olea Europaea Fruit Oil, Dimethicone, Propylene Glycol, Triethanolamine, Isopropyl Palmitate, Citrus Dulcis/Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Oil, Stearic Acid, Parraffinum Liquidum/Mineral Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Urea, Fructose, Glucose, Sucrose, Glutamic Acid, Aspartic Acid, Alanine, Dextrin, Hexyl Nicotinate, Hexylene Glycol, Citrus Grandis/citrus Grandis Oil, Tocopherol, Glycine Soja/Glycine Soja Oil, Dimethiconol, Paraffin, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Glyceryl Stearate, Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Parfum/Fragrance.
Although there are some natural ingredients, the vast majority are artificial, including a few nasties, such as five different parabens. It also contains glycerin (which is often derived from cow or pig fat), so question the manufacturer if, like me, you wish to avoid animal by-products in your cosmetics.
Personally, I'd rather pay a bit more and buy a natural plant-based lotion by a manufacturer such as Green People (available from Whole Foods and most health shops).0 -
Oh well,I'm getting used to being left out here.Just once I wish they'd remember that there is life after Manchester.0

Aren't you getting glycerin mixed up with gelatine?
Glycerin is almost always a by product of bio-fuel production, so veggies like shouldn't be too concerned.
Still trying to work out how the hell Tesco have their Taurine-based energy drink labelled as suitable for veggies though.
Cheers

Unless Simon, its a Vegetable Glycerin which is what i use to make soap with, and its great for vegetarians.
Vegetable glycerine comes to us through a very complex and sophisticated method of extraction known as Hydrolysis, and the end product that we refer to as "Vegetable Glycerine" is usually the by-product of another oils production. The basics of this system is that the fats and oils of a raw ingredient (usually palm or coconut oils).
But wow look at all those parabens, think i will give this one a miss, but wicked offer!!!0 -
Hmm, it would mean a trip to Meadowhall for me, which is over an hour away
