Wasn't expecting this today.
Think I fought off 'new rules' by a few pounds past 2 years.

I can't spend -FCA have new rules-I have one card recently on payment plan.
This Chrome card is recently <50% limit used, going to continue to make decent payments.
I'll accept their increase, No need to use it, re payments would be unaffordable.
    thanks

    Not quite simple, this time.
Unless it's fake, had to complete income/expenditure link.
Completed as required, Vanquis will be in touch.

I thought if accepted, it could make utilisation slightly more favourable.
No plans to use such a limit, this will be my highest limit ever-maybe they enjoy my random in limit spending and re payable Interest.
I only have repayment level to concentrate on, higher repayments aren't an option.

If you’re in a position where you can ensure you continue to manage the card - it’s definitely worthwhile taking the increase. As you say it’ll help credit utilisation, and increases are good for the credit file (they are recorded). So take it - don’t use it. (I can see you’ve already taken it - but still - don’t use it 😁)

You're on a debt management plan and technically in persistent debt with a different card?

And you suggest you wouldn't be able to afford to service a higher debt.

I guess Vanquis knows what it's doing.  :)
