    Morning all :)
It is quiet, isn't it 1LL? Anyway, I am pleased to report that I got almost everything on my list done yesterday, so a good productive day. Need to try to keep it up today!
Walked dog before 6 am, nice and quiet but it was chilly this morning! Felt almost autumnal. The sun is coming up now, so it is getting a bit warmer. I gather it is supposed to be very hot at the end of the week. What a strange year we are having :/
    Today I will:
Put shopping from Icyland away when it arrives - sometime between 8 and 10
    Do some hoovering and tidying
Put rest of clean clothes away (didn't get them all done yesterday and there is now the washing that dried yesterday added to the pile)
Feed the tomatoes, courgettes, basil and cucumbers
Pick anything that is ready in the garden - there will be tomatoes and raspberries at least
Put the shallots I dug up yesterday out in the sun to dry off
Cut the basil again -  it needs cutting every week at this stage. I tend to make it into pesto, and use half of it more or less straight away and freeze the other half :)
Cut a lettuce for dinner, as we will be having some marinated chicken from the freezer, with salad and jacket potatoes. My freezers need to be defrosted, so I am determined to use up a lot of the contents over the next few weeks, with a view to restocking in September. No need to empty them completely as I can shuffle them around a bit to accommodate the home grown veg and fruit that I want to keep for winter. There is a lot in there though!

    Morning folks

TryingAgain - I'm sorry for your loss :( re anxiety, a chap I work with mentioned to me that he'd had free counselling via a DWP scheme called able futures. To qualify, your MH issues need to either be caused by work, or affect your ability to work. I have contacted them myself already and it was very easy and quick. Might be worth a look into.

Funny we're discussing the NS&I savings account. OH asked if there was a better account we could put some of the redundancy money into and so i'd come onto MSE and seen that one and applied. Shows you how much money the goverment needs if they are offering leading savings accounts.

I kept trying to post yesterday and getting sucked back into work. I was up at 5AM! and went to the gym for 6am. It was really good to be back actually. I really enjoyed it but I'm sore now. Weirdly it's not my big muscles, but deep ones. Like my core and inside my hips. Also the soles of my feet (skipping) and my neck (hollow rocks - a bit like sit-ups).

Today is not mse. Today is very happy though. I have taken the day off work because it's HAIR COLOUR DAY!! also, because we got our deposit back for the gym equipment that we borrowed, OH and I are treating ourselves to lunch out. We've been really looking forward to it.

    MSE and other things today:
:star: B/D from stores. I won't be home for dinner so I need to take a snacky tea to the hairdressers. Apparently you aren't allowed to eat in there d/t covid rules (cannot fathom why??) but i will just nip outside and scoff instead  - done
    :star: Check PMP - done
:star: Do a little bit of work while the bleach/colour is on  - done
:star: Walk to and from lunch venue. Saves a tiny bit of petrol    - done
:star: Nip into the garden this morning and sort some bits out I've been putting off. Mostly involving deadheading and filling pots with compost  - nope
:star: Silicone freezer bags supposed to be arriving. If they do arrive this morning, I need to grate up the courgette mountain and freeze it - they have arrived! They look sturdy. Didn't grate the courgettes though as bags need to wash and dry.

Hi just to give a hug to everybody and to say that I have had a leisurely outing today and will have to get back to work later and also change a plane ticket that was changed to a day where I can't travel, cutting a family visit very short. Sad about that.

Hi all,  lovely to catch up with everyones news.
I've had a nice afternoon catching up with a friend for a socially distanced coffee in her garden.  Luckily the weather stayed dry and we had a lovely couple of hours.  I timed the visit to coincide with my weekly picking up Mr T click and collect.
    Checked banking and updated cashbook
    Leftovers for tea
    posted an rm survey item
washed hair and left to dry naturally - broke my hairbrush though  will try fixing it with some tape tomorrow (I have a 2nd brush but find it a bit too hard on my head really!)
    Thats about it.
    Take care all.

    Morning
I am reading along. This week is racing by. Two lots of the children's training restarted this week, so time spent ferrying them around.

Yesterday I went shopping, I'd left the list at home, I didn't buy anything not on the list   but I forgot the eggs

    Morning folks

Hope you're all well today. Feeling a bit grumpy myself cos I'm not so happy with my hair colour. It's not my hairdresser's fault per se, we tried something new and it hasn't really come out like we expected, and partly  didn't like it as much as I though. We were trying to do a dark root stretch and partly I don't like it after all, and partly I don't think that the colour took well on the roots. Also, they are using a new brand of colour and the red isn't proper post-box red. More like a vermillion or almost pink in some lights. It's nice, but not what I was aiming for. I look like a fruit salad chew hahaha.

Anyway, not much mse stuff today. We desperately need to go to the allotment after tea. OH has been tasked with grating up the courgette mountain now the new freezer bags are washed and dried. Other than that, I need to prep everything to within an inch of its life for a 5am start tomorrow for a gym session.

    Have a good one all
