Morning all
Member of the WAC checking in. It was too hot to sleep! Another busy week of paid stuff so minimal flying beyond dailies and laundry has been done.
Round if Wandering Willi fancies a visit here she would be made most welcome, meantime I’ve made a list for today and am going to crack on, it is cooler and rain is forecast so I’ve nudged DH into getting up so garden jobs can be tackled this morning. So far I have
showered and dressed
few dishes from last night done
litter trays refreshed
wm set to swish, basket empty yay!Swapped battery in D***n and put on charge (fiddly job but needed as battery has only been lasting about 2 mins!)
list made
cuppa slurped and breakfast eaten
right then, another nudge for DH I think and then I’m going to get on!
bye for now x7 -
Morning all,
We had a lovely week away, gorgeous weather after the initial rain on Monday and spent all day every day on the beach. Home now and DD is 8 today, where does the time go? We will be out all morning then she has a friend to sleep over. Our area is one of the ones back in lockdown... I'll keep my thoughts to myself. WM is on, DW is on, presents are about to be opened, and the sun is shining. Will catch up properly later, take care all xx8 -
Good morning!
I am up & dressed and had breakfast. I didn't run as I didn't get up early enough. Its too hot now!
I need to go shopping as we seem to have run out of everything! I think I will do that this morning rather than later. I also need to empty the DW, restack it & water the garden before it gets too late.
Have a good day everyone. Round I hope the test goes okay x7 -
Dailies and physio done.Spend less now, work less later.8

Awww BadCat, thank you xx - Wandering Willi is thrilled to be invited and feels all warm inside. (She's feeling a bit sorry for herself this morning and that has cheered her up no end)
Goodi - thank you xx. I've heard that the test is unpleasant but brief. I'm more worried about the traffic on Mr M's roundabout and finding my way in to the tent. When I'm anxious I turn in to an idiot so anything could happen. Then it will be the waiting game - and one of the analysers is down so there is a backlog of tests waiting to be done apparently. Oh joy, my cup runneth over.
Round 1 is more or less done - just waiting for the sun to move round a bit before I WUDUPA.

Round, we are all behind you, showering you with purple dust. Have a (((hug))) from me too xx
asb, I'm so glad you had a good holiday. I hope you left some sand on teh beach and didn't bring it all home with you! Happy 8th birthday to your DD xx
Enjoy your 4 weeks off work, Jazee xx
It's taken me ages this morning to finish the judging for the strawberry challenge, but I think I have a list of winning and highly commended entries. the boys have made an enormous effort - the older ones all by themselves, the younger ones with a fair bit of help from their parents (but for an only-just-5yo to write full sentences with spellings that I can read is no mean feat). Now I have to sort all the prizes and deliver or post them.
Otherwise I have just
- S&S'd kitchen and bathroom
- tidied the LR
- cut the stamens out of the indoor lilies that are now in full bloom
- made and written a "New Home" card
- made DH a brew
Rosie and I are going out now to her appointment - ouch! I shall be glad when her nails are trimmed!

Me again
phew, it’s cooler than yesterday but still sticky!
so far I have...
scrubbed downstairs loo, utility room and deep cleaned conservatory, lots of cobwebs in the roof area so several spiders now homeless!
Dh has mowed lawns and done some weeding
tidied kitchen and dining room and rehomed bits of gibble that didn’t belong, I shall hoover those rooms next, having a drink and a sit down first!Back again later, good luck round x5 -
Minimal gardening done, three pots are tidier. Now sitting down again while DH makes lunch.Spend less now, work less later.6

Have put washing out, it's dried and back in because there's an ominous bank of cloud. Have had to go back to the beginning of my diary (I use academic year diaries) to get dates for this month; my sister and all her married children have their anniversaries in August plus I have 2 family and 2 friend birthdays. We get July off... I now don't have a diary; it's at work.
I'm planning to pop to town later to source cards, rabbit food and any other 'bits' - been putting this off for 3 days...
I have an ebay sale finishing shortly so will take to the PO with two anniversary cards probably tomorrow. We do have a postbox up the road though, and I have stamps as I bought LOADS last year.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear6 -
The deed is done. Thank you for all your best wishes and support. I am now going to watch F1 qualifying. And breathe Rxx
