Ok 10 payments left to go till MF day (April 25th 2022 last payment). Looking forward to getting into single figures. Savings pretty low at the moment. Hopefully start the rebuild in May next year.

Thanks @caeler, that’s the plan, my mortgage payment (for me) is quite high at£1050 per month and I’m using savings for day to day expenses, so it’s all quite tight, I will be happy to get to December with then just a short hop to MF day.

Five more days to next scheduled mortgage payment, then I’m on 9 months and counting.
i reckon I will be left with £1000 of savings when I get to MF day in early May 2022, so it’s tight but will then slowly build some savings for emergencies. I’d be happy to get to £5000 in an emergency fund.

Amazing! 

I'll be in the same boat when we pay it off with a much smaller savings pot. But it should be easier to build it back up without the mortgage and op payments each month. Still feels a bit scary!

8 payments left to go, back at work shortly after a great staycation. Lots of decisions to be made next year regarding work/pensions etc.
