So back to work this week, managed to fit in some garden tidying and bought a light fitting for the house that I’ve had my eye on for some time. Holiday was great but nice to be back home. Got caught up in delays going out and coming home. More work to do in the garden to get it looking reasonable but a big tick for yesterday’s endeavours. The weather is looking ok for next week too so will push on with that. Tip run is calling and a declutter of wardrobes to clothes bank and charity shops too. Wow we’re into August already, maybe it’s my age but this year is flying in! Have a great weekend.

Spent a good bit of time in the garden yesterday and it’s  starting to look a lot tidier, I’m trying to like gardening more LOL rather than it being a chore. Anyway I see thebenifits of doing a little often to keep on top of it. Off to a local gig today with my partner which should be good. Direct debit for the mortgage cancelled and email from the bank confirming mortgage redemption. Just waiting on electronic copy of the deeds now.
Get paid shortly so hopefully the taxman has sorted my tax code as had some issues the last 2 months paying excess tax. I really want to see the benefit of not having a mortgage payment and be able to build EF money and some discretionary spend for family.
Jobs for next week, clearing out the garage and selling some stuff on eBay, continue plodding in the garden!
