Waiting on 247 money box processing a £550+ refund and wageday advance administrators have estimated a £793 redress.
  • Hi, can someone help me, I’ve tried reading the thread but I’m lost. I’m currently in a DMP with debts including 118, quickquid, bamboo, lending stream, piggy bank. Totals about £9000. I’ve been in a PDL cycle since 2014. I’ve had more loans with Wonga, wageday advance and sunny, mr lender, uncle buck just to name a few. How do I go about complaining? Will it affect my DMP? I don’t even know where to start.
    Thank you
  • Hi, I'm just starting out my reclaim journey. I was wondering what happens with the redress is you have moved banks do they confirm where the redress would be sent to? Any help with this is greatly appreciated :)

I started my reclaim journey a few days ago using resolver. I'm was deep in payday loan trap and this has left me in a multitude of debt (I take full responsibility and am trying to sort this out)
Anyway I have made a complaint to Uncle Buck who are also trying to take me to court for £300 when the back balance of loan at default was £146. I have received a response asking me to call them. What do I do? I suffer with MH issues and am confused!

Anyone know how long the FOS take to come back to you? I submitted all the information they requested the end of January and have heard nothing. Even sent a couple emails to them with no response in regards to my claim against SNC
  • I'm going through the process of making a claim against QuickQuid as I was stuck in the payday loan trap from 2012-2014. It's the same old story - I was taking out a payday loan as soon as I paid off the last one, but still incurring bank charges and building a huge pile of debt.

At the same time I was using QuickQuid, I had a CashPlus (or Advanced Payment Solutions-APS) card which also had a payday loan like feature of being able to borrow an amount which was put on the card, which you then paid back at a date of your choosing within 30 days.

I just wondered if anyone has had any success making a claim again APS on the same basis as a payday loan?
  • Are there companies that do this for you?

I had a bunch of payday loans from 2010-2013 that I paid off but I think I might be entitled to compensation as Wonga and Quickquid rolled me over mulitle times.

Yes but they will charge. Better to do yourself - details of how are here: https://debtcamel.co.uk/payday-loan-refunds/
  • Anybody else having issues with getting refunds from 247moneybox?

I was offered a refund over a no month ago but they still haven't paid it out.

They've been stalling with various excuses

1-they need to calculate the 8% interest, I did this in 5 mins
    2-its with the payments team.

I have been spamming them with daily emails to garner some kind of response but they very rarely reply.

I have called them and they always insist that they do not have the facility to transfer me to a) the payments team or b) a manager.

I'm concerned that maybe they are stalling on paying out in the case that they are another pay day company entering administration.

Would like to hear other people's experiences of getting refunds from them.

    Thanks
  • 247moneybox seem to have no staff or setup behind their website. Their Twitter posts online apparent 5 star review but there's loads of responses asking if they ever respond to queries. Their website offers a text service it seems like nobody mans and they take several days to pay payday loans - so good luck getting your payment there's probably nobody even handling it. Genuinely believe it's run by a couple of people end to end (or the staff just don't have an interest in providing service).
