Hello, member of the Debt Hacker team here.

Yes, we're a free service and we make no profit. We are not a claims-management company. We do not act on your behalf, we empower you to get your voice heard.

With Debt Hacker you get to keep 100% of your refund - other claims management companies charge you a percentage of any successful refund you get.

More info on the website at debthacker.co.uk

Probably been asked a million times - is it basically tough now if your PDLs were with wonga? My wife had loads with Wonga over the years, we sent the letter in then never heard back, and they went into administration

Got a email back today from QQ. They say because its over 6 years i can't claim anything. They have given me 7 day access to my account to download all data.
Is this worth taking to ombudsman or will i get refused there because of the time.

Have a read of the two DebtCamel articles linked below:

Ombudsman will look at payday loans over 6 years old

QuickQuid - misleading customers about loans over 6 years old

I'm not an expert or anything and have only skimmed and scanned the articles. You need to investigate further. If my quick scan is correct, then it appears that two recent decisions went against QuickQuid! (I could be wrong as I did not read in depth)

Certainly won't hurt to email them to find out. From what i've been reading on here, i don't think you can claim from wonga anymore as they are gone. Worth trying the rest though.

Update. I've just sent my first complaint to FO regarding QuickQuid. Hoping they will agree with me.

Can't remember if I asked this question ...I managed to get myself into trouble with various payday loans, SNC, Drafty etc and a couple of high interest bad credit loan companies Everyday Loans, AVANT etc. I am about to enter into a DMP for £1000 a month! Should be debt free in 1 year 8 months. Am I still able to complain at this stage even though I am going into a DMP and paying off some of the loans? Or shall I wait? I could issue complaint to the ones I have no owing balance too but it's the current ones I am unsure about.
    Thanks in advance.

Started 2019 with £22,5000 debt - March 2021 Debt free - stick with it people I did and now never felt better

From what i'm reading from this page. The time limit to claim will soon end. So yes i would put claim in. They could owe you more than you still owe them. So will pay it off

Can anyone help? I used the template from debtcamel and sent to Wonga and PaydayUK back in August. I borrowed from both between 2012-2015.

I received a 'final response' email back from paydayuk, however not a list of my loans as requested. They said this -

    "My Decision:
We handle complaints following rules set out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
One rule is that a customer must complain within 6 years of the problem. Another rule is that if more
than 6 have passed, you must complain within 3 years of knowing you could complain about the
    problem.
I can see that all of the loans that you are complaining about are more than 6 years old. So for me to
consider these loans, I need you to tell me why you didn’t complain about these loans until now."

What should I do now? I can't remember the details of my loans hence asking for the information in the first place, but I believe most are under 6 years old.

    Any help would be appreciated!
