I know this may have already have been covered but what luck have people had with Wonga when they have asked for the extra 8 weeks to process claim. I had 51 loans over 4 years with them and am just wondering if its worth waiting0

Update regards my claim against MyJar.
Recieved a Final Response from FOS today and he has pretty much word for word copied and pasted the wording of the adjudicator...lol
He says that there was a long period from taking out the previous 79 Wonga loans and the 11 Myjar loans and that the defualts were 4yrs previous and no new ones showing...so since 2010 when i went bankrupt until 2014 there wasnt any arrears or defualts...what utter rubbish i even sent the credit file and explained very clearly that the above is just utter tosh to the adjudicator...sounds like she hasnt passed on ANY of my information and simply he has looked at her response and pretty much copied it word for word.
Hmmm what about the 3 ccj"s that were all outstanding...the Mortgage arrears upto Febuary 2014 and various pther bills that were not being paid on time.
He finished his letter saying that as the amounts varied that means they wasnt being borrowed to repay what id paid back and that not everyone who takes out regular pay day loans is dependent on them...errr so taking 3 loans out in a month isnt depending on them...what a complete and utter !!!! take.
ive highlighted the "several" wonga loans the adjudicator refered to...and the Myjat loans that dont constitute depending on them.

Don't bother trying to be reasonable with Wonga, it gets you nowhere and just drags it out unnecessarily. I made the mistake of giving them an extra 6 weeks, thinking it would sweeten them up enough to agree with my complaint, even to a small degree....it didn't, they just fobbed me off with a pack of lies
Looking back I wish I'd just complained to the FOS at the 8 week point, I'm 18 weeks on from my original complaint and have only just been given an adjudicator.0 -

If you have passed the 8 week mark, then go straight to the FOS.
These are just delaying tactics, hoping you will get fed up, and forget about it, many people, unbelievably do give up at this point.
The paydayloan companies are so awash with complaints just now, they will do anything to reduce the numbers, and the amounts they have to pay back.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Agree with sourcrates on this point, the PDL will use delaying tactics to get rid of you. As I have stated before, be prepared to wait six to twelve months for this process to be resolved. Have patience and you may be rewarded. Lots of posters have had payouts, read through old posts on MSE and DebtCamel or go to the FOS website and look at cases that have been dealt with. You should be inspired to carry on right to the very end. I am at week 8 after my adjudicator upheld my complaint with PDUK I am awaiting an Ombudsman decision now. Started this process in Jan 2016 so it can take a long time.0

Good afternoon everybody,
Just a quick update about where I am.
Quickquid - allocated to an ombudsman on Friday - hoping to have a decision soon
Lending Stream - awaiting allocation of Ombudsman - adjudicator thinks it should be this week.
Payday UK and Payday Express - both complaints on hold as they include loans greater than 6 years. (did finally receive a final response from Payday UK on Saturday after 4 months offering £1845 - have rejected this)
Wage Day Advance - Adjudicator has just reviewed case and is partially upholding it - just a wait now to see if they will agree (probably only worth around £350)
CFO Lending - I am having huge issues with this company. The ombudsman agreed with the adjudicator and I have been awaiting payment. The amount they said did not seem to be correct but I just wanted a quick payout, so I accepted the offer. They said the money will be in my account within 72hrs. This was on the 21st Setember! I have still not received the money and all they say is they are having problems with the payment system. I have informed my adjudicator who has emailed them aswell - I am furious about this! But there is not anything else I can do.0 -

No just send it on to FOS anyway, it wont do any harm either way. Might in fact speed them up in getting it sorted a little quicker. Just passed on Payday Express this morning because they haven't been able to sort it within the 8 weeks.0 -
WONGA in the news again Cowboys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Robbing people of their hard earned last Friday.0
-
So I get a response from Payday Express this morning to inform me that they have not been able to investigate my complaint in time. Exactly one hour later they've now sent a final response with a refund offered around £330.
Are they actually wise?0 -
I have declined there measley since I repaid them £1200 in interest and they allowed me to roll over one loan 22 times!!!!0
