I won't get involved in pointing fingers at someone, there was a niche he took it that's how business works.

to be fair from what I can tell stevie has been honest about what he does. I was not looking to vindicate him for doing that.

i agree and see the points of both sides, my feet are still firmly planted in helping people become debt free and redressing issues and education also.

Taking responsibility for our own finances is precisely what we are doing by seeking redress for historic malpractice. Everyone seeking help and advice from this forum has seen the error in their own ways and also highlighted that the result of this error could only have been possible through the weak and intentionally exploitative tactics of the PDLs. Both sides made mistakes but only one side did it on purpose to exploit the most desperate people in society.

I make no apologies for saying I HATE the PDL industry. I wish nothing but awful things for people who've profited on misery.

Just had contact from the FOS again reference my complaints. I have one adjudactor dealing with all 6 of my complaints I have submitted which I assume is a good thing.

QQ obviously never gave me a final reply in the 8 weeks, and now in to week 6 with the Ombudsman they have said that the last loan (only) was irresponsible in 2015 - of which I owe around £1000 on (with charges they have been adding throughout my DMP). As such, they have made an offer to remove that last loan and write that one off (ignoring the other 45 loans).

My records / statements show 46 withdrawls, but QQ have stated I have only had 6 loans. Has anybody else come across an adjudactor asking for clarification around this point which clearly shows continued roll overs but the PDLs are making out that it was all part of the same loan?

Hi RingoC, I have read about this on other posts. Surely the FOS can see by viewing your statement of accounts or credit report that you have had loans with rollovers, this is just yet another delaying tactic from SlowQuid.

It is possible that these were 'flexi' accounts. So if you paid off a portion of the balance, you could withdraw it again at a later date. Similar to an overdraft facility. Therefore you'd just be adjusting the loan balance with each withdrawal or payment. That would mean the individual loan accounts could have multiple withdrawals attached. That seems the most likely possibility to me.

If that is the case the frequency of withdrawals should have been an indicator of financial difficulty, and by operating in this way QQ were definitely not encouraging 'occasional' and 'short term' use. Which is the intended purpose of this type of loan.

Seems like an absolute blatant case of irresponsible lending to me. Good Luck.

Hi folks, just got an E-Mail from my adjudicator re: PDUK, she has upheld my complaint from loan 13 to loan 37, not sure about any figures yet. PDUK have until July 1st to respond. My adjudicator is also dealing with my SlowQuid complaint. She said I had borrowed £7,000 in total from PDUK over an 8 year period 2008 to 2014 but could only base her/my case from 2010. I burst into tears, think it has all been overwhelming with the worry and the waiting, 1 down 1 to go then I can sleep properly and put this behind me. I would like to thank everyone on this forum for their help and support, you are all Diamonds.

Hi fusionx212, Not sure what the totals are yet, the adjudicator has stressed to PDUK who by the way have ignored the FOS as per usual that all redress is to be inclusive of 8% interest from the start of loan 13 to whenever they decide to reply and pay me. I have a figure in mind from day 1, if they pay me £2,000 back I will be happy.:D:)

I am glad for you getting a result here and have no issue what so ever in people being paid back certain charges for fee's that were both excessive and wrongly charged, The thing that I see here is the length of time taken and the fact that so many are going to the FOS when they by rights can deal with themselves and save time plus energy.

What is the reason's why a lot of you guys are getting nowhere with a lender directly ?

Wrong again Stevie, the reason people have had to go to the FOS is because PDL are ignoring people, starting with not sending a statement of accounts. I said previously in an earlier post, if I ran a company and my staff ignored people meaning that my company faced a £550 charge from the FOS then they would not work for me again. This is very bad management, believing that if you ignore customers they will go away, saving money in theory. Well this has back fired on the PDL because of MSE and DC and people power, I would like to see figures on how much the PDL have had to pay in charges to the FOS. If they had dealt with the complaints earlier it would not have snowballed into thousands of customer complaints, bad management.
