Go to Current Accounts and then the 123 Lite page. Click the red apply button. On the next page there are 2 options - 1 to open a new account and the other to transfer an existing account. Will be done very quickly, all details/DD/card/login stay the same.0 -
These changes discriminate against customers in Scotland. Here, Scottish Water provide the sevice but the Water Charges are collected by the council and appear as Council Tax. For example, I pay Glasgow City Council £1375.58 per annum, but £336.08 of this is water charges due to Scottish Water. I have raised a complaint with Santander and would encourage other customers in Scotland to do the same.2

AngryOfGlasgow -as a matter of interest, what method did you use to complain? There seem to be four ways to complain:
- Call us free of charge from a UK landline or mobile on 0800 171 2171. We can resolve most complaints while you're on the phone.
- Our dedicated complaints team is available Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
- Please use chat in Online Banking to explain what's gone wrong.
- Visit us in a branch if you’d like to speak to one of our team in person. Find your nearest branch
- Write to us at: Complaints, Santander UK plc, PO Box 1125, Bradford, BD1 9PG. Please include as much detail as possible about what's gone wrong, along with your name, address, account number, contact number and a convenient time for us to call you to discuss your complaint.

That's it they've finally convinced me that I shouldn't stay with them. My money is going to NS&I and will be fed from my NW account. Bye bye Santander it was good while it lasted0

They’re not obliged to provide anything for anyone.
Likewise with Gas and Electric, some new companies that have just started up aren’t listed as accepted providers and earn no cashback at all either.5 -
Santander’s latest results released this morning give a clue to the rationale behind their recent changes to 1 2 3 products. Massive write downs in their own investment assets and bad debt provisions on customer loans. The write down on investment assets seems to relate to previous bank acquisitions like Alliance and Leicester etc, so Balance Sheet has possibly been overstated for some time !
Don't think it comes as any surprise and Barclays in same situation.
As one wag has already suggested in the press, the products should now be rebranded 0.1 0.2 0.3!
Personally I’m staying loyal and will just miss the nice little earners which were good while they lasted.

I have normal 123 account and was thinking of switching to 123 Lite but I’ve checked on my online banking app and it says there is no interest payable on your balance so surely it’s not worthwhile changing just to get a few quid cashback0
