I was expecting Barry Scott to make an appearance and announce it. It does look very amateurish and like something out of the 1990's - that would make me concerned about their software (if they can't put together a quick professional website then can you trust the product?). When you try to exit the site it offers you an even lower price (just under $15).
I don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!
I like the way it says unlimited, and then caps the allowance at 250gb. It says you can have a 'free bump' after that, but doesn't say what to. I'll also be amazed if they can really take 30gb of images and video and reduce it to 2gb - echoes of the tv show 'Silicon Valley' there.
The website itself is only 33 days old, and I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be a scam. You need a fair bit of capital to set up your own data centre (some statistics on how many disk drives Backblaze have https://www.backblaze.com/blog/backblaze-hard-drive-stats-q1-2020/ ) or you are reselling from an existing cloud provider - none of who are offering 250gb for a tiny one time fee.
So the special offer has expired but is still available. They are not joking when they say they say 'profit drive is developed by marketers for marketers'. A search around the internet last night only revealed a gazillion affiliate websites for profitdrive, but no reviews or comments. At 50% affiliate commission it just doesn't have a sustainable business model.
