Living in uk, Working in Denmark and pay Danish tax NI. What am I entitled to?

Hi. I am a supervisor consultant working in Denmark for the oil company TOTAL. I work through an agency and only pay Danish tax, and Danish social security for which I been doing for the past 12years. I have not received any work since the 5th of March due to coronavirus lockdown in Denmark then the Uk which in turn cancelled all my scheduled work for TOTAL for the foreseeable future. Can you please let me know if I am entitled to any financial assistance through the uk or do I have to apply for financial aid through the Danish government?

No idea what you can get from Denmark - ask them.

Why do you think you should get support from UK as you chose to pay taxes to somewhere else?

Could ask Martin Lewis for a payment - he is all worried about the so called #Excluded

I think if you work in Denmark and pay taxes there you should get benefits in Denmark.  Do you live in Denmark for work or are you working remotely from the UK? Are you a UK citizen?

If you're living in Denmark then you won't receive any help from the UK.

Here is some information on what you can claim in Denmark

Since the DK social care system is far more generous than the UK one, and you will have paid into the Danish system, it makes sense to make the application there. It will also be the best place to start asking questions.
