Excel Parking - Flipped Ticket 2

Options
After winning a previous case from 2018 against Excel Parking Services. My partner has now received a claim form relating to a PCN from the 2017.
We had absolutely no knowledge of this PCN, and their claim refers to her not clearly displaying a valid ticket/permit.
We have managed to access her company expense claim records and now have a photograph of the ticket proving a valid ticket was purchased for the time/date.
We have Acknowledge Service of the claim online, the issue date was 8th July, how long do I have to submit a defence?
My partner would like me to attend court with her, how do you make this possible please?
Many thanks,

Email a SAR to the DPO at Excel asap attaching a copy of the claim form to it as proof of I D under the GDPR , the defendant must do this

KeithP will probably reply with your deadlines but it's 33 days from the issue date

Look up the lay rep and McKenzie friend details for the helper to assist in Court

The newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , post 2 gives most of your answers

Yep, 33 days so early august. But you can get this done sooner - the template in the newbies thread needs very little modification.
To attend with her you dont arrange anythign. You turn up on the day.

I'll assume the Acknowledgment of Service was filed after 13th July. Please confirm - the MCOL claim history has the definitive answer.
Was it the named Defendant who filed the AoS?

With a Claim Issue Date of 8th July, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 10th August 2020 to file your Defence.
That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Goofle "fluuering ticket oarking" and "de minimis.

It is not a fine, it is an invoice from an ex-clamper to compensate them for the alleged harm they suffered when you did what you did. We call it a scam. Pay them not a penny unless a judge so orders it.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Thank you for all of the replies/input.
Checked MCOL and the following is shown:

Your acknowledgment of service was submitted on 15/07/2020
Your acknowledgment of service was received on 16/07/2020

My local MP has now responded, advising they have sent a 1st class letter to Excel Parking Ltd requesting the PCN to be cancelled. Although this is positive, I assume this is too late given we are past the AoS stage?

The letter can be used in your WS & evidence later - ask for a copy (no rush).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Never assume , I know KeithP did but that was your fault due to not stating when the AOS was done

Facts , that is what court cases rely on , not assumptions

I put this into an online translation programme but it came back with, "Language not recognised".  :D
Next to it was a small picture of a Blue Nun.  ;)

Where did the alleged dastardly deed occur? Someone here may know of it. In addition, using the time slider on Google Street View may show signage in pace at the time of the alleged event.

What happened when you complained to the landowner?
