Was the offer not conditional on taking it off the market? Mine were. Can’t stand gazumpers or people who allow it.
Ive not been told this, EA advised to go ahead with the viewing and go to best and final offers if needs be.
Then you haven't accepted an offer.
Either cancel the viewing or tell the people who think have had an offer accepted that you are having another viewing before deciding.  Both these courses of action are fine.  Telling them their offer is accepted (lying to them, basically)  and then having more viewings is indeed a !!!!!! move.
Don't take moral advice from estate agents.

The decent thing to do is cancel the future bookings but let them know that if the current buyer falls through for any reason you will  contact them at that point.
The decent thing to do would have been to allow all viewings already booked to go ahead, then evaluate offers and decide.

I can't stand having pre-arranged viewings cancelled. What if that's the only slot offered by the agent/vendor when you personally could have gone and seen it quicker? Then it sells to someone else who for some unknown reason was able to get an earlier viewing. Nope, its not right and doesn't give everyone a fair chance.

Personally i put the needs of my family before the needs of others. More money = better for me
What an awful selfish attitude. Don't use your family as a way of justifying screwing people over to get more money. There is no reason to lie to people in this situation. I don't understand why the OP didn't just wait to accept the offer.
