You were told to leave the AOS until later this week , not file it today
What is the point in asking for advice if you fail to follow it ?
Chances are your defence deadline day has altered , less time to prepare , unless you have just got in under the radar as KeithP pointed out in his deadlines above
I would have done it in a couple of days time , to be on the safe side
Yes , Bank have issued a lot of claims recently , you are one of many
As mentioned above , do not post the whole defence , just the amended sections3 -
Filing an AoS on 13th is absolutely fine.Redx said:You were told to leave the AOS until later this week , not file it today

I did say to not do it before 13th.
In fact it could've been done on 11th or 12th July without any compromise, as they are non-working days.6 -
Whilst I agree , my advice was ignored , hence my reply to the OP where I said Thursday or Friday , as you correctly pointed out in your dates , it was between the 13th and the 27th , so the 16th would be fine
If the OP ignores advice , it could cost them money in the long run
Let us hope they file their defence in good time , plus the DQ and the WS plus Exhibits plus summary costs assessment too
Recently on here there have been a few cases where good advice was ignored , deadlines missed , excuses etc , then a great wailing and moaning and gnashing of teeth4 -
I have looked back at the previous posts about acknowledging my claim and it was stated not before the 13th. So I did take the advice given thank you . This is the first tome doing this and I have read and reread the advice over and over to try and get it right . I am not ignoring advice given to me at all.Redx said:Whilst I agree , my advice was ignored , hence my reply to the OP where I said Thursday or Friday , as you correctly pointed out in your dates , it was between the 13th and the 27th , so the 16th would be fine

You seemed to disappear off the forum after this exchange. Have you filed your defence?leeanne1982yes said:

Sorry I haven’t disappeared. I filed my defence and got an acknowledgment via email. Just had a letter with 2 days to spare saying they are going to take it further and I am awaiting a questionnaire . Does the questionnaire come in the post ? Or do I have to fill it in on the county court site ? I understand mediation is the next point of call? Can someone who has maybe been through this explain what is the next step after the questionnaire ? Thanks in advance0

Please read again that post where you found the instructions on how to file your Defence.
In that very same post, just a few lines later, after the bold words...After filing your Defence, there is more to do......it explains exactly how to deal with a Directions Questionnaire and whether you need to download one or not.
You need to go back to the NEWBIES thread and read Bargepole's 'what happens when' post to understand why mediation is not the 'next port of call'.
Find the link to Bargepole's words immediately after this heading in the second post of the NEWBIES thread:
