THen it isnt a letter before claim
As you know, because youve read the newbies thread, so you know a real letter before claim requires they give 30 days.

Who from?  Who do they represent?  What's it about?  Anything to do with private parking?

Nos, I very much doubt that OP has read the newbies thread.

Every OP should read the NEWBIE sticky, that is why it is there.  OP, yes you @oktry, read the NEWBIE thread, right below where you clicked on NEW Thread and see if it answers any questions, if not re-post with your specific query.

Thanks, I have read the newbies thread. The lbc is from ce Ltd and I does say 30 days but on the thread it said I needed to send a sar or a practice direction letter within 14 days.  I got a parking ticket via camera but obviously I didn't park hence the non payment.  I lost poplar appeal as didn't know about it and now have letter before claim. Could you point me in right direction as the 30 days is only 2 weeks away. Sorry if a bit messy, currently typing on tube train via phone. Thanks

    30 days is LBC

Email a SAR to the DPO at cel to obtain all your data attaching copies of 2 recent redacted utility bills as proof of I D under the GDPR law

Tell the claimant to place the matter on hold pending the SAR reply plus you are seeking debt management advice as well

Just email a SAR and also an address Rectification Notice if you are not at the address they used.  You need to be sure you will see the claim form in time to defend it and not miss the claim.  These cases are 99% won here and easy to defend but you need the SAR and need to be sure they have the right address you want them to use.

Thank you for responding. I have emailed a SAR request to the ppc office. I hope that this gets to them as i have searched all the paper work from ce ltd and no-where contained in it is an email address for correspondence. I presume that they do this in order to make it harder to challenge them, i don't know but i managed to find a generic office at email for them after searching the web. Once again thanks for the pointers. I will update as and when I hear things. In the meantime if there is anything else you think i could do to help my case please comment. Thanks.

Do it again to the email listed on the cel privacy page which is where you should have looked , it's in the Your Information section and has a direct DPO email address
