Unfortunately it seems that some people thought they had to eat both of the meals themselves!Paul_Herring said:Blushing said:Will this work with 2 for 1 deals?Only while they last; sadly it's looking like 2 for 1 deals will be made illegal as part of the upcoming effort to bully the public reduce obesity.../s3 -
The list is now published, unfortunately the government in its wisdom limited the search to within two miles of a postcode...some of us dont even have a shop within two miles never mind a restaurant. Now having to postcode search restaurants to see if they're in 😞🙄0

I think the current government plan is to ban BOGOF offers on unhealthy supermarket food, not on dine-in restaurants.Paul_Herring said:Blushing said:Will this work with 2 for 1 deals?Only while they last; sadly it's looking like 2 for 1 deals will be made illegal as part of the upcoming effort to bully the public reduce obesity.../s1 -
Well that will probably work out to be a good thing because restaurants/supermarkets will still want to offer deals so instead they can do half price which means it works out better when your in a group with an odd number of people or in a supermarket and only need 1 of the item.Paul_Herring said:Blushing said:Will this work with 2 for 1 deals?Only while they last; sadly it's looking like 2 for 1 deals will be made illegal as part of the upcoming effort to bully the public reduce obesity.../s0 -

Nope. Not "unhealthy foods." HFSS foods. Which include, bacon, eggs, butter and jam. And strawberries and cream.

Probably worth getting a tastecard for a month if you're thinking of doing a lot of this.0
