EON help needed please

Hi everyone, here is the latest update.
with getting nowhere with EON I took people’s advice an escalated to the ombudsman.
i got a reply today offering me a letter of apology from EON and £50 good will payment,
but they’ve still NOT amended my bill so I’ve declined the offer.
i can’t believe such a big company can’t sort this issue out !In the meantime they have marked me as late payments on a credit reference agency, which has lowered my score !I’ll keep you all updated as to what happens next, but I’m not holding out much hope.
They don’t seem to know what they are doing.
thank you once again for all your help and advice you’ve all given me it’s much appreciated that you’ve all taken the time to help me xxxx0 -
- Did you pay them the undisputed £118.18?
- Have you sent them the latest meter readings?
Might be worth posting photos or a video of the meter so that forumites can check your readings are correct.0 -
Hi Gerry,
No I never paid anything they wanted all of it and wouldn’t accept part payment. This is a picture of my meter with the latest reading On it and the label from when it was installed.0 -
It's 175 days since the new credit meter was installed so the daily charges amount to £47.34.You've clocked up 1029kWh on the new meter, corresponding to £207.97. I'd pay them this undisputed total which is now £255.30. What happens if you try to pay it here by credit or debit card?As previously suggested, I'd start a switch to another provider and see what happens. If they block it but you're eventually successful with your case you can then reasonably ask them to refund the difference. There's nothing to lose, and it might trigger a correct final bill. What exactly did the Ombudsman say, did they agree that you owed far less than E.On were claiming?0
