That sounds like a great trip to the cinema! I haven't been to one in ages (and oddly, it was one of the Batmans I saw the last time I was there!) but if it was like that all the time I'd probably be more inclined to go.

@Honeysucklelou2 it was organised so well, I was so impressed.
@ceremony it felt like being in the cinema in 'ye olde days' when people knew how to behave in a cinema. Before lockdown we quite often went to the midnight, first night showings as we knew that we would not have to put up with idiots. Sorry if that sounds snobby but I like to sit and watch in silence and immersed in the experience. Obviously laugh, scream etc. at the right places but with the whole cinema. Not have to listen to peoples conversations, the rustle of crisp packets bought from home, lights of phones. If you want to do that then why not wait till the film is on Sky instead of pay for the cinema. Sorry it is a pet hate of mine, can you tell.
We received a £214.77 PPI cheque today <whoop! whoop! shakes pom poms!> So as soon as that clears it will go onto OD1 and I'll clear whatever is left on Monday <whoop! whoop!> Goodbye OD1<whoop! whoop!>
In other news it looks like the the freezer bit of the our american fridge/freezer is giving up the ghost. It's colder than the fridge but not as cold as a freezer, so is making a good drinks fridge atm. We have a little freezer that we can use but I do need that extra freezer space. I'm going to trawl the local marketplace for a seperate tall fridge and freezer which should give us better space.

Another £10 made on SBs and £6.15 with Prolific. Have also signed up for Crowdology and Onepoll today so we will see how that goes.
In other news DH thinks we only have 2 more payments on his bike, so I've asked him to check. So from next month I'll be bashing CC2 and will have cleared the CU loan, CC1 and OD1 so I'm feeling quite pleased.4 -
The cheque cleared and £15 from Lifepoints so I've transfered the money to OD1 and it is now gone, gone, goooooorn!! <jumps up and down and waves her knickers in the air>. Musn't forget to cancel the SO for it3

Sorry for the radio silence but I've not been feeling my best over the last week or so and have taken my eye off the ball. I've done no surveys at all either. I will get myself sorted and work out where I stand properly over the next few days moneywise and start up on the surveys again.
CC1 is paid off as is OD1. I have also paid off the CU loan . I was left with £55.58 after the monthly payment had gone out so I used some of the savings to clear it. The CU savings now stand at £415. I have canceled the weekly £15 SO and reduced the monthly amount to £100 to go into savings each month. So I did a little woohoo!! at all that.
I'll be concentrating on CC2 next. I have the credit card and will create a log in tomorrow so I can pay it off as and when. Unfortunatly it's not as low as i thought it was as DH had spent on it and didn't tell me. I will have all details tomorrow, I think it's around £750. I also need to chase DH on how much is left on the bike.
CC3 stands at £3759 and there is also OD2 which is at £2k and the Help to Buy ISA which is £1007
My eldest has now been allocated accommodation and it looks like we will have to find an extra £2k on top of the maintenance loan. Plus until DC1 has a job we'll have to give spending money for stationery, books, crockery, food etc. Wilko's have a kitchen box with crockery, pans, cutlery, tea towels etc. for £45. We are also will put some boxes together with tins, herbs, spices, flour, sugar, tea, coffee and other essentials.
On top of this I've just had to pay out £130 on stuff for DC2s Graphics GCSE course.
I still waiting for tax credits to give me new figures on what the payments will be as from Monday and obviously child benefit will reduce from this month as well. Hopefully I will be able to sort out what money is coming in soon and what I can allocate where. It's funny the government say that as the kids turn 18 they are adults so they won't help you out at all as they can go to work, they then encourage those 18 year olds to go to uni and tell us that we have to support them as they are children :-/ Ah! well the joys of children.2 -
I'm baaaaaaaack!!
Sorry I've not been well and have really taken my eye off the ball. I'm still not 100% but I'm trying to slowly get on the wagon. I haven't done any surveys at all for a couple of months and have just started doing a few in the last couple of days. As I start feeling better I'll pick up more. Having said that I've just picked up £5 from Swagbucks, £5 from Media REwards and will get £40 from doing a focus group over zoom.
This is where I stand at the moment...
JULY: NOVEMBER:
CC1 £80.22/£900 all cleared
CC2 £647.24/£1000 £834/£1000 (we've had to use it to get stuff for university.)
CC3 £4259.16/£6000 £3500/£6000
Bike loan (through employer) £340 last payment of £30 next payday and it's clear.
OD1 £388.23/£1000 £767.82 (I had cleared it but we've had to use it to get stuff for uni.)
OD2 £2000 £1100 (this will go up as will need to get food etc. but will try to keep it down)
Credit Union Loan £506.16/£1000 all cleared
SAVINGS
Credit Union £590.70 £611.14
Help to Buy ISA £380 £1067
CC2 has a DD set up to pay minimum payment and I can't find the card or the little book where I write everything in at the moment so I can't get online to get it changed but I will continue to search and I'm sure it'll turn up and I'll change it.
CC3 has a DD set up for£250 a month and should be paid off around next July-ish as things stand.
The bike will be paid off by the end of the month.
OD1 I have set a £5 per week SO up and will put any survey earnings in there to clear it down again.
OD1 is at £1100 but that is our main account and I still need to get shopping and a few other bits and pieces during the month so this will go up but I will try and keep a bit of control on it so it doesn't go fully up to £2k but we will see.
The CU savings I have set up a £100 a month SO. We will probably have to use this to deal with Christmas. In the New Year I will set up a CU Christmas saving account as well. Though I've just had an email to say I have £45 in vouchers <woohooo!>
Help to Buy has a £40 per week SO set up to go in and is chugging along nicely.
It's a blimmin' pain that we had to put stuff on the CC and OD and we should be further down the road but we are heading in the right direction with debt at £6202 and saving at £1678.
