I've managed to put £50 into OD1 so I'm now sub £300 <whoop! whoop!> at £296.22 <shakes pom poms>
I'm now signed up to 4 survey sites. At the moment I'm signed up to LifePoints and I'm halfway to £5 but it's slow going and surveys quickly appear and disappear. Prolific which I've just cashed out £5.21 on, so that will hit paypal at the end of the week. Swagbucks with which I'm 300 points short of £10 and after an initial really good start seems to be slowing down on the survey front. Today I've signed up for Populus Live. They email you surveys so you can't just look at their site and click on what is there. They operate slightly different with paying as well, you have to have 50 points (1 point = £1) and they pay out automatically. They see if you have 50 on a certain date of the month and if you do they will transfer £50 to you, if you have 48 then you have to wait until the next months payout period. I have 8 points from today. Next will be signing up to YouGov.2 -
We've had a bit of good news today, hubby has been told that his contract has been extended until March <shakes pom poms wildly>4

It's been a bit quiet on the survey sites this evening so I've been doing so research and have signed up to Lionbridge and Neevo. Both of which seem to offer money for tasks. I've applied for a job on each so we will see where that gets me.2

I've just transfered £5.21 into the OD1 account from Prolific so my total is £291.97 at the moment.2

Hi flo, you are doing well, and great news about OH's contract extension. Usually after 4 years of fixed term contracts there is the right to be made permanent. Not sure how close he is to 4 years after this extension but is a useful thing to have up your sleeve, without drawing the employer's attention to it too soon.2

Thanks for the encouragement and information @Blackcats. He's started through an agency in another arm of the firm for 6 months and then they took him on on a 12 months contract. When he was coming to the end of his contract he looked for another job and applied for this project which was due to finish just as Covid hit and they extended it and they've just extended it again. So he hasn't been in the same place for long enough but we will keep the 4 year thing in mind and he is going to look for a job within the same part of the company when the time comes, though his boss is trying to persuade the powers that be to make the team permanent to help save the company money in the long run.3

I've just earned £5 on Life Points also £10 on Swagbucks so have to wait for it to hit my Paypal. It doesn't feel worth it but these small amounts are moving the debt downwards.2

Had a bit of a money fling around and we have OD1 at £277.91. Credit Union loan £215.03. CC1 is at £33.13 so that will hopefully be gone by the end of the month. Help to Buy is up at £587.
So all things being equal and fingers crossed we should be rid of the CU loan and CC1 by the end of the month/beginning of next.
Next moth the child benefit reduces along with the tax credits so that will really hit us. Though I'm hoping to have my business up and running by next month though obviously it will be a while before I make any money.2 -
Just waiting to see if a couple of surveys I've done this morning with Prolific are accepted and if they are then that's £6 in the pot. Not too bad while I sat on my sofa watching a movie with the kids. Also did some others for other sites and have totals going up. Still waiting for the last lot to hit my PayPal, I hate the wait it's so frustrating.3
