Yaaay! I've just earned £7 in my Prolific account so I've transferred it to my Paypal account which will get transferred to OD1 when it hits. That was from 7 surveys.
  • I find that I either get lots of surveys or none from prolific!  My balance has been sat at £11 for a few days but I want to get it to 17 before I withdraw!
    Total debt June 2021 = £24359

Estimated debt free date = October 2024

Yeah! I found I had none for days and then I had a load in a row so I thought I better cash out while I could. I might wait a little longer next time. I'm on the way to £25 in my Swagbucks and will withdraw that once I get there.

Yaaaaaay! I've got enough Swagbucks for £25 into Paypal!!  :D

Booooooo! the Paypal account has to be linked to the email address used to open my SBs account  (I used an email especially set up for this sort of thing) so I've had to open another PP account and have to do the verification process etc. Then apparently it will take 7-21 days to reach the account. :|

Think I need to find another survey site to run alongside Prolific and SBs now but I'm not sure what to go for.

Update on totals after some money has been thrown around.
OD1 plus £15...so after added interest is £392.80
    Help to Buy plus £40 = £507
    CU Loan plus £15 = £369

The Paypal verification amounts have hit my bank account so I'll sort that today. I also need to change the phone number on the Nationwide account.

It's funny I'm sat in my front room and I've noticed this past week the traffic has gone back to normal as has the amount of people walking past the front garden. It definitely isn't as peaceful as it was out there. We live in a tourist area and things really do seem to have got back to normal. My husband went to the supermarket last night and says it is really busy and people really don't seem to get the social distancing thing. We're debating whether to do online deliveries.
There has also been a local incident where an 11 year old was attacked and bottled at the beach for asking a tourist to pick up a plastic cup they'd thrown in a rock pool. So it looks like we won't be taking the kids to beach anytime soon.

Well the Prolific money hit my account and is in the OD1 account. It's only £7.27 but every little helps so they say  :) . So that now stands at £373.10 which is still less than the beginning of the month (£388.23) but not as much as I'd hoped because of my mess up, but at least it's in the right direction.

Well that was a nice shock the SBs money hit my Paypal and is now in my OD1 account so that now sits at £348.51 so definitely heading in the right direction.

Hubby was paid today...YAY!!! So on Monday when all the DD's go out I'll update totals for the month. It'll be interesting to see what's what especially with all the muck ups.

In other news we should hear whether hubbys contract will be extended till March in the next couple of weeks. His boss seems confident it will so fingers crossed.

Hokie dokie then! the state of play after the DD's have gone out and the usual Monday money fling around has happened is... <drumroll please>

    CC1 £80.22/£900  £53.13/£900
    CC2 £647.24/£1000  £597.20/£1000
    CC3 £4259.16/£6000  ££4009.16/£6000
Bike loan (through employer) £340  £280
    OD1 £388.23/£1000  £345/£1000
    OD2 £2000  £2000
    Credit Union Loan £506.16/£1000  £230/£1000
    SAVINGS
    Credit Union £590.70  £460.72
Help to Buy ISA £380  £547

This includes any interest added, the CU changing the extra money to go to the loan instead of savings hence the reason I have less in my savings than I originley thought. Also the forgotten DD that hammered OD1 otherwise that probably would have stood at around £200 so I'm a bit !!!!!! off about that.
Once the September CU   standing order goes out then I'll be left with something like £70 so I will sweep some of the savings over to clear it.
I'm going to keep hammering at the OD1  with any survey money and anything else I can. It probably won't be gone by the end of August but it will be nearly there I hope.

So in July I've cleared £685 in debt and added £96 in savings
