Bloor totally onside of giving it all as 'cash'. At least, that's what they are saying. Just a challenge with lender on how this gets written up. Likely it will be on the UK disclosure of incentives form as 'Mortgage paid for x months', 'legal fees' and 'removals' etc to make up the figure.
Broker has been brilliant and bashing heads with solicitors and developers.2 -
Interesting as they seem to be trying to deny it for others. Can I ask what stage you are at? Thanks.Defangled said:Bloor totally onside of giving it all as 'cash'. On the precipice of exchanging. Basically contracts all drafted but waiting for conveyancing items to be worked through before the formal exchange so not yet taken place.MrLogical said:

Generally seems to be mass confusion....1 -
so the point where they will do everything they can to get you to sign on the dotted line. Sad to hear they are not giving those who have the same treatment. Shame on them.Defangled said:

It does seem to be region and 'development broker' advice dependent it seems from reading all the threads.... But yes, shame on anyone not honouring it. Until I have something in writing though I won't be confident....MrLogical said:

The sales manager at bloor told us they are withdrawing stamp contributions for all customers nationwide. They said that some customers on help to buy would lose their mortgages if they were getting stamp contribution when stamp wasn’t due. Therefore all customers must be treated the same.0

That is a lie and I think you know it. Get some proof and fight back!SharkMoney said:The sales manager at bloor told us they are withdrawing stamp contributions for all customers nationwide. Agree - no way that’s true. Because that’s not what my Bloor development are telling me. The lender yes can’t except ‘cash’ incentives for HTB other than stamp duty and legal fees, so it comes down to finding a suitable compromise.SharkMoney said:The sales manager at bloor told us they are withdrawing stamp contributions for all customers nationwide.
