Does MSE care that many regular posters have defected to a new forum?

I, like many other regular MSE posters, have joined a new forum on which posters can discuss issues that affect them or society.
Hence, sadly and after many years here, I find myself visiting MSE less frequently.
I can see from a glance at my notifications that site traffic has dropped.
My respectful question is Does MSE care that it has lost many useful contributors due to their decision to close the discussion arm of the forum?
I would be grateful if someone at MSE Towers could address and answer this issue directly, taking account of the site traffic drop, which must now be obvious to them.

Just out of interest, where is the “new” forum?!0

This forum is intended primarily for consumers to discuss moneysaving.
I'm not sure that is the purpose of the other site. I'm sure many of us are members of other forums too, to discuss interests other than moneysaving.
This site has previously warned, and now enacted in part, that it does not have the resources to handle off-topic (i.e. non-moneysaving) topics.
But lets look at some real figures (as moneysavers are inclined to do).
The new forum set up recently by a former Board Guide of this site has less than 120 members, and a number of those have previously been banned from this site, so I suspect MSE is not bothered by those.
Let's be generous and say there are 100 members of that other site that have not been banned here; that is not even a drop in the ocean compared to the millions of users that have registered here.
And just because members are registered elsewhere does not mean they don't also frequent here, as your thread here today amply demonstrates
Finally, despite the other forum (that does not concentrate on moneysaving matters as far as I see) being rather new, it is fair to say that despite a initial rush of some 'chatters' to join, there has now only been 1 new user signed up there in the last 4 days.
(That particular user has not yet posted on the other site, and wass indeed already banned from MSE anyway)
By contrast, this site has new members signing up as frequently as 1 per minute if not more during some times of the day, hopefully all to discuss moneysaving matters.
I can't see any particular issue the good people at MSE will have with other forums, and a relatively few members here joining them especially when they are not aimed at moneysaving matters for consumers. (not that they could do much even if it was moneysaving related elsewhere)
But if another place can accomodate those people who are either banned or do not wish to discuss moneysaving matters, I suspect MSE would be all in favour of such other places, allowing MSE to concentrate it's own limited resources on it's own USP.

I doubt it very much but y'all seem to care whether MSE cares or not.0
