Currys smashed my tv and cut off the plug

Hi I'm looking for some help and advice if possible.
I bought an LG TV in store back in December 2018. The tv developed a fault in which it would light up but no picture. Currys agreed to collect and repair. The tv was returned back to me unrepaired as it had suffered physical damage. Confused I phoned to see what this was. Impact to the screen and upon inspection of the tv they have returned there is impact damage to one corner as well as huge crack over the screen.
So they agree to collect and assess, the tv is now due back to me today again unrepaired this time apparently the power cable has been lopped off!?
The very helpful advisor on the phone said neither the impact damage nor cut cable are classes as inherent manufacturing defects and therefore not repaired.
What can I do! Should I reject the tv when they try to deliver today. I have photos of the tv after they returned it the first time including one, luckily which shows the power cable in tact.

Any help would be much appreciated, I'm at a complete loss and can't really belive this has happened!

Strange , none of my recent LG TVs have had a permanently wired cable . All of mine are plug in leads.

Damaged led screen is down to you , not covered by warranty.

Assuming that it was damaged by the OP and not by the couriers/repair agents whilst in their possession. (OP mentions damage but doesn't clarify who caused it).

Sorry, the tv left me with only the screen fault. It was in perfect physical damage

The damage must have occurred in transit to them. Its worth noting that the 65" tv was carried by just one man to and from their van despite there being two of them.

And yes the cable is directly wired.

Why would they lop the cable off?

Exposed high voltage components due to the damage?

If you have evidence of the condition prior to first collection then you raise a claim with Currys. Letter Before Claim followed by MCOL if necessary.

I suspect the advisor you spoke to hadn't clocked you were saying that the damage was caused after it left your possession.
