Well done, a monkey off your back. 👏What did you submit to PE to cause them to cancel? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I just appealed with the letter Half_way drafted.
"To parking eye, ref parking charge notice ### the vehicle concerned reg number xxxxx was not in the car park the the time you allege, you appear to be relying solely on data captured by inaccurate automated camera systems with no reasonable checks (such as foot patrols) to verify the data collected and held by yourselves is accurate.
Data accuracy is a key component of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) And under such, you have 30 days to rectify your data and cease processing my data with regards to pursuing this parking charge notice.
Further more I would also require from yourselves evidence to show that you will take reasonable steps to ensure that this dues not happen again at any sites you operate from, such as including manual checks (ie foot patrols ) of your sites to search for vehicles that have been flagged as over staying"
I also attached my Google timeline for the day in question.3 -
I agree, they'll spook more people into paying here than those who fight back and rumble their game. Financially beneficial business model, underscored by a poverty of morality. Shameful.DoaM said:
That'll be what did it. They'll know about the loophole caused by the other exit(s) and wouldn't want this going further as their pseudo-trap will probably be a reasonable money-spinner for them.Djyamo said:I also attached my Google timeline for the day in question. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
