Fighter1986. Thankyou for taking the time to reply. The matter was cleared in Nov 2019. I have emailed them to add a default date which would be June 2015 as that is when i moved property. The started date is the date listed is when we moved into the property. Let's see what they say 🤷♀️
MB is currently on the case looking at other providers that don't use experian although he's hitting a bit of a brick wall due to what we need and what we have deposit for.... 🤦♀️0 -
Update.
Complained to Npower.... Came back today to say that they will be updating my Experian records with them as "U" in the next 48hours. Apparently they couldn't be marked as having an actual default date because they fell under the amount threshold (£58).
Is this a good thing or bad thing for me? The girl on the end of the phone was very lovely, but she said that as she didn't work in the department she couldn't give specifics!0 -
U just means no data, so it's neutral.0

OK, thanks for the reply. Fingers crossed 🤞0

Another update!! Experian was updated within the 48hrs mentioned. The whole account has been marked as "U" up until it was settled then it shows "0". Score has shot up to 999 (irrelevant I know but makes me feel good!)
MB, says its an excellent result and will resume looking for products for us. I would say that was a result?! 😊1 -

Can I just clarify you didn't actually get declined for a mortgage? Your MB just said you need to get in touch with npower regarding late payments? Because there's a big difference0 -
