Back in the early 90s I paid £45 for a cut and blow dry in SW London

My hairdresser now charges £18 and she seriously is as good as the one I had back then

Difference is, the one now has a portacabin attached to a tattoo artist high street shop and works on her own rather then before where it was a high street salon with the choice of beverage, snacks and about 4 different people attending you

Mine is very curly and just above shoulder lenght but longer when wet and stretched out, its almost corkscrew curls and dyed blonde. I used to pay a fortune for highlights and coliur which was lovey when the hairdresser dried it smooth but rather lost when i dried it naturally curly.
it tends to grow wider not longer! But jve finally learned to love with and even love my lions mane.
ive stopped going now and have started using colour form esalon, its very good, you can pick from loads of colours  and also give Instructions such as - no red tones please.
