This bit concerns me,Agents Notes
The vendor has advised there is an estate maintenance fee of £116.00 per 6 month period.OK not much money, but could it be it start to rapidly get more expensive?

Plenty of 15k,25k, even 50k price drops in the area, but it is still too bubbly for me, Cambridge must have been a Super Bubble before the bubble went Pear Shaped!0

I do not know any of what seems like a background vendetta but I have no idea why Crashy_Time is being vilified----nothing he's said here constitutes breaching the MSE ethos of " be nice to everyone".
As for the house, IMHO, I think it is overpriced and the garden is a real problem. But I wish the owner every success in selling. In the present climate "patience" seems to be the watchword and I would not worry too much at all at this stage. All the best.0 -
It is because he has been forecasting a crash and advising people not to buy for as long as he has been on the board, at least 6 years. If you had followed his advice and rented throughout this time you would have lost money. He appears to be ideologically opposed to property ownership. A valid viewpoint but not on helpful on a forum dedicated to buying and selling. He has not boughf or sold anything during this time so his experience is arguably limited.coachman12 said:I do not know any of what seems like a background vendetta but I have no idea why Crashy_Time is being vilified----nothing he's said here constitutes breaching the MSE ethos of " be nice to everyone".4 -
Its not a vendetta. People are tired of every thread being used as a staging post for his crusade to talk down house prices.coachman12 said:I do not know any of what seems like a background vendetta but I have no idea why Crashy_Time is being vilified----

It is not a vendetta, every village has one.1

that's right, the main issue for me is that whenever he jumps into a thread, he manages to derail it with the same kind of stuff so pretty soon all discussions end up like that. Ok, I think we all got it already, just let other people have a discussion without that daft spam. We all have a point to make, but when you only have one point and you make it repeatedly, everywhere, then that by definition is spamNorman_Castle said:

It's certainly not the most generous room size on the face of the planet, but let's not go OTT... The room is 2.3m x 2.2m. A standard double mattress is 1.9m x 1.35mdavidmcn said:
To be fair, you could fit a double bed into it. You wouldn't be able to open (or close) the door, or get anything else in there though...DiamondLil said:Have to agree with the poster above; that bedroom isn't a double bedroom by any stretch of the imagination.0 -
Whilst he doesn't generally say anything which breaches the MSE ethos he did mock a poster a few days ago who had stated that they felt they were being bullied in a particular situation. His response was despicable in my opinion.coachman12 said:I do not know any of what seems like a background vendetta but I have no idea why Crashy_Time is being vilified----nothing he's said here constitutes breaching the MSE ethos of " be nice to everyone".
