Alliance parking ticket

I have read the FAQs and newbie stickies and I am probably more competent than average regarding contract law principles, MCOL, PPCs, Beavis etc. having advised on this myself.
I have received a ticket for an 'x' minute overstay, marginally over the IPC given grace period as per their COP. No windscreen ticket, NTK arrived within 14 days unfortunately. I have yet to appeal. I could try to argue that the lack of reference to T&Cs or signage within their NTK means that it is not PFA compliant. I also don't remember there being clear signage upon entry stating the carpark was private and controlled by Alliance although there may have been. Other than that I do not see what I can do to provide a legit defence. I did suffer an injury which I have medical proof of that made driving a nightmare but this will be ignored by the PPC - and for obvious reasons I'd avoid the IAS.
Anyone with experience/ knows the likelihood of Alliance taking this to small claims? I begrudge paying £60 to these cowboys but i'd rather not pay the approx. £200 If I were to lose on the day.
Thanks

I have been coming here for 7.5 years and never heard of ALLIANCE, so no idea but if they were to do so I am sure we would have heard of them by nowPOFA is not mandatory so I would be surprised if they had complied, many dont comply at all3

Presumably Alliance is Alliance Parking UK : https://www.alliance-parking.co.uk/
Interesting choice of Name for OP bearing in mind that this company is run by Kevin McManus4 -
Are you sure they comply with the POFA in NTK wording? It's never just about the date and calling a piece of paper a Notice to Keeper!
Is there scope to complain to the landowner? Retailers cancel these fake PCNs left, right and centre if you whisper in the right ear.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

OP, I think you'd be doing society a favour by fighting this outfit. Something about Alliance - a whiff of utter incompetence + arrogance - suggests that their car parks may be a complete shambles. Can you get pics of the car park / signage to use in the future if that proves necessary? Screenshots perhaps if it's far from you?
I'd recommend appealing using the standard appeal from the Newbies' thread. But before that, complain strongly to the landowner, insisting on cancellation. Include an explanation of the driver's challenges on that day.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up,
Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

And that must have been a coincidence, I'm sure I didn't check companies house before making this account.1 -
Thanks for the prompt responses.
I did complain to my local MP using wording from the parking bill debate as suggested before I made the original forum post, probably should have mentioned it.
I do feel like fighting this and I do understand the complete process from start to finish. Unfortunately finances are extremely tight and that is the main reason I'm considering paying the £60 to avoid it being £100+ at court - although that would be at least 9 months down the line.
Regarding the POFA I have read the wording and it may be lacking information making it fall short of the requirements under section 9(2)c.
Signage will be an issue, I will have to go back to the parking spot - a 4 hour round trip. The signage on google maps street view is certainly different to what is there now. If I were to defend this up to a hearing then I would certainly go down and photograph the area extensively.
What aggravates me further is this is managed by a rich landowner, he is the 'self-ticketer' making £10 per referral to Alliance Parking. I am unable to find this person without paying the £2.50 land registry fee and that may not be fruitful, plus he's the individual whom issued the ticket in the first instance.
Would you suggest I upload a copy of the PCN (redacted of all sensitive info)?
Thanks to everyone0
