Hi everyone...kizzy that sounds absolutely lovely..I'm sure you will fall in love with the place as it sounds so charming.Bet you can't wait until DH gets back as 4 months is a long time.
My DS popped home the other day as he is on leave from the navy at the moment before he goes out to the gulf. It's his first proper stint and he'll be away until christmas!!!!!
I've had a great day today!!!...my first day at work for ages and I've took £161 odd.I started at 5.20 am(don't ask) and was doing pretty ok and then got a fare to Manchester airport at 11am and back here for 1.10pm so just filled the car and finished so am pretty pleased with that...yippee!!!...so didn't do loads of hours today so that's good..DH is out there now.
I have just put some washing on so that it can be hung on the line and the only other thing I'm doing tonight is having a long soak in the bath and chilling out!!!
It has been fantastic weather which usually means crap money on the cab so am really happy that it turned out that way.I'm really tired now though.
Hope you've all had a good day x

Excellent - well done! I guess people need their airport runs whatever the weather which is great. You know your thread makes me feel much less guilty for taking a taxi! I do often for work especially if I am going somewhere I don't know but I always felt I should walk or whatever. Now I feel good that I can give someone the business (and have work pay for it best of all) :D

:T Well done on that. I am really chuffed as they say in our neck of t' woods. My son in law is in the Navy, based in Cornwall. My friends son is in Scotland, and i am trying to persuade ds to join as i think it would be a fab career for him.

I have three loads of washing out, and have finished the bedding. so when i get back tomorrow, i can go to my sis's birthday bash without feeling guilty:rotfl:
