Morning all..hope you are ok just doing a quick update as my £224.68 came off my Virgin card today..so am now in the £37ks!!!.
Not a lot to report am off to garage in a minute to have the brakes checked...have a good day everyone x0 -
Morning Taxi
Well done on the debt and good luck I hope the garage doesn't produce a big bill.
KM x0 -
Good luck with that.
Just reading a previous post about what you are good at,reading and listening etc. and had a thought. Why not write a diary, the life and times of a taxi driver. I bet there are plenty of folks who would read it, lots of tales to tell.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Hi Boredofbeingathome...that isn't such a bad idea!!!!!The garage bill wasn't too bad £108.....I don't bother too much how much it costs as I claim it all back against the tax but sometimes it's a pain when it's a big bill making sure you have the money to shell out.
How are you anyway?......
Have done the shopping as well and now have loads of stuff in to last a few weeks. So fingers crossed I will get out to work tomorrow!!!0 -
hey taxi - well done on the course - am sure you'll sail the test! and well done on the debt reduction.... going in the right direction definitely!0

I ordered one through the post but it hasn't arrived yet!!!...not nervous about the exam but I am nervous about when they come out and test my driving.
I will manage to hit the £10k mark shortly so am quite happy about that.I have the bill now but am waiting to collect a bit more on the 10th and then will pay that along with whatever else I have here.0 -

Hi Taxi,
I've always loved History & would love to learn more, social history, more than anything, i watched some programmes on the wives of Henry VIII & was transfixed. I think you have to enjoy whatever you study though & not think of where it may get you as such, as it's hard work, I hope you find something you'd like to do.
Well I've taken a leaf out of your book & booked a holiday to Lake Garda in August:j I am so excited, only for a week, but have been having a real dilemma as we love Florida & I'd love to have gone there, I just don't want to wipe out our savings & this place seems to have everything, train to Venice, the lakes, mountains with cable cars!, theme park, water park, beautiful walled town with restaurants along the harbour & not too expensive, hoping this will be the start of a great love affair with somewhere that is cheaper than Florida, my first & true love :happyhear
I'm just not a sit in the hotel or on the beach type, I need to explore & do things! Hubby comes home from 4 months at sea on Friday too, so am feeling very very happy at the moment:DComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner
