Thanks for that...I really don't know what they will do.I put the tens machine on it yesterday for half an hour and it seems slightly better on my back but my leg is worse..lol

Back from the DRS....the nurse thinks it may be sciatica and has given me some Naprosyn 500mg tablets which I have to take twice a day to see how I get on..I have made an appointment with the DR for when I get back as I would like an ex ray or a scan as I've had this problem on and off for years and really would like to know exactly what it is...at least I have a few days before I go to see if I'm ok with them.

Hi everyone..hope you are all well.What a lovely sunny day today...
Been busy again this morning as I went to pack DH case last night and he had said don't worry I have all the clothes I need ...yes right ...so had to get emergency supplies this morning but only bought cheap shorts and T shirts.
My leg feels a little better this morning so am hopeful that it will get better.I have to finish the packing after and to run the hoover around as the man is coming to fit the door tomorrow.
Forgot about all this running around for packing when I booked the holiday.ahh well will soon be there.

hi taxi! It seems as though those tablets are kicking in already!

Just think, all the panicking and rushing around to get things done and go away will soon be worth it!! Just think about the fact that this time next week you will be doing Salsa!!

Hypno I am so glad that they are kicking in and yes only another couple of days to go.All bags are packed now as well so am just having a rest before tidying up downstairs ready for DH to hoover in the morning.
We fly out at 10am on saturday....
BTM you will probably love Cuba as the fishing is fantastic..plenty of big barracuda,tarpin and other ones I can't remember..snapper etc...Can't remember the name of the beer but will let you know when I get back..sex on the beach and mojitos are my type of drinks...being a sophisticated kind of gal...lol...
I absolutely love the laid back attitude and the friendly smiling faces of the staff who cannot do enough for you unlike this country!!!...will let you all know about it when I get back.

Morning all...
This morning I am sat here freezing as I have no front door on at the moment....LOL....can't wait to see it on ..how sad am I?
I've updated my sig as well due to my £271.95 loan coming out.You never know I may hit £10k by this time next month!!!!
Felt the pinch this morning with all the increases in DDs...mortgage,council tax, water, gas and electric....cost me about £170 more per month.
We are really going to knuckle down when we get back from holiday though.The mortgage is my fault as I lowered it from 18 years to 10 years so that is about £120 dearer...but £50 per month extra on a couple of other bills is not very good and that doesn't account for the increase in fuel or food!!!!
I feel really sorry for people on fixed incomes...it's no wonder we are so quiet on the taxis!!!
I'm just glad I earn enough to cover these increases but I can see it ushing quite a few over the edge!!!

Morning everyone..hope you are all well.
Up and about early this morning.I have stripped the bed and the bedding is in the washer as we speak...so we can remake the bed before we go and have a lovely clean bed to come back to.
The new front door was fitted yesterday and looks fantastic and it also lets some much needed light into our tiny hallway.That's now all the DG completed.Thankfully.
The fireplaces are going in on the 22nd May.
When we get back I am going to knuckle down both with work and paying my CCs off.I don't have too much to do today just go to bank and put the take in and a few pottering around bits to do and then we'll be off overnight.

Morning Taxi - it must be lovely to have got the door in - we are hoping to embark on the "window journey" at some point - hopefully before the existing ones finally fall out (yes, they ARE that bad!).

If I don't get chance to catch up with you again before you go, have a fantastic time!! I know you will!! Enjoy, and see you with even MORE vigour when you get back!!
