Oh no, chicken pox is horrible, so itchy, poor thing. If he's at the spotty stage though, he's probably already over the worst of the feeling ill.
Well done on your rapidly shrinking sig total - you look as though you are on track with your £20k challenge. :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
LOL at JJ being excited at having chickenpox........little does he realise.......Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Thanks Snaggles and Hypno...the debt total will really start to fall after I get back from Cuba.My front door is going on on Thursday and my fires are going in on the 22nd so that's all the double glazing finished and some heat downstairs so it will cut my fuel bills hopefully.Feeling positive that I will get close to the £20k as well now...so quite positive at the moment which is quite a good feeling to have.
I was killing myself laughing at JJ when he said he had chickenpox as he was so proud..then he sung me postman pat and bob the builder over the phone..he's so funny...
I've been busy today since I logged off ..I have packed my suitcase..done some washing...been to the bank and been to the office about the NVQ ...I was right it is on when we are away so the boss is going to see if they will run another course and if not I will get in touch with licensing and see about it...
I've booked an appointment with the Nurse as all down one side I am rewally aching and my leg is going numb..I think it's sciatica and my ankles are swollen ..I am very overweight and though this doesn't help I think I'm retaining water so will seee what happens tomorrow0 -
That swelling and numbness doesn't sound like much fun, I hope you can get something for it before you set off on holiday.
Please make sure you are safe to fly........ask about clots etc when you see the nurse xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
aww hugs for you taxi...hope it goes ok with the nurse & pain improves - could just be a trapped nerve but if my lot were anything to go by all & sundry were because I'm fat!! Mind you I do notice a definate difference in back pain when I'm slimmer & must try to shift some...happy holiday packing!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hi taxi, that's bad luck about the swollen legs, I hope the doc can diagnose and do something to help.
When are you off to Cuba? I am very envious, it sounds like a wonderful place.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Thanks all...I've had this back pain and numbness in leg on and off since a car crash about 7 years ago but I don't usually have swollen feet..this is why I think I'm retaining water.
When I come back I'm going on an healthy eating plan...I was thinking of say porridge for breakfast..fruit for snack...salad and tuna or meat for lunch ....meat or fish with veg for tea...and fruit for snack...
Does that sound like I will lose weight and I also want to get back in the gym..but will have to go slowly though.
I'm off to Cuba on saturday Seaxwyn ..I have used my winnings from gala bingo to pay for it so it hasn't affeceted my debt free date really..we are going 2 weeks all inclusive..and yes Cuba is such a lovely place..my favourite in fact...we went to Cayo Coco last time but are going to Guardalavaca this time...can't wait.
I'm classing it as DFW style as it was last minute so half price and we are going on the train to the airport..this works out about £70 cheaper altogether than getting a taxi....and I won the money...
May follow Hypnos lead and start a new diary when I come back to track my weight loss etc...0 -
It sounds like a fantastic fortnight you have ahead of you......I know you will have a fab time, and the fact that it is, essentially, free makes it very sweet indeedSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. I hope you have a lovely time - you deserve to after a hard year's debt-busting. What a perfect way to spend the winnings. I look forward to hearing about it.
The diet plans sound good - you could maybe cut back on the meat even further. My sister has recently lost a stone just by cutting meat down to once a week.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
What would I eat if I'm not eating meat or carbohydrates? as I have lactose intolerance I can't eat dairy....
I was debating going to slimming world or weightwatchers but I think that's probably a waste of £5.
Will def have a good time as all we want to do is chillout anyway...looked at the reviews for the hotel and it has great write ups. Can't be as bad as the Goa holiday can it?
Must get some jobs done...0
