Taxis 2008 diary..here we go

Morning all,
Hope you are all ok especially with the storm!!!...I'm having the day off as I would like to keep the doors on the taxi...
So my plans for today are to sort out all my banking and the door money so will update totals later. I will have enough for the door later so that will be ready for thursday am for when they come.
I can't do much housework as DH is in bed so will do some paperwork and some washing etc so that the day isn't wasted.
Have done my surveys etc....so time for a brew and then I'll sort the banking.

Update:..done the banking etc..I now have enough money for the back door and £105 spare towards the front windows

Hi everyone..not a lot to report..I had an ok day on the cab today and haven't been home long.The washing is on(it never seems to end)..lol....
DD2 bought me a lovely pair of boots in the sale at Evans yesterday as a belated mothers day present and I'm really chuffed with them as I needed a new pair..she also bought herself and her sister the same pair..so now we are all matching..lol
Done the usual click things etc....so as usual nothing to report...This diary is getting boring so I may just give it up.

Dont give up your diary - its not borning & I certainly find it inspiring & woud REALLY miss it so please dont! Great news re the double glazing! Storms are on the way! Was really worried getting out of the car as it was shaking a bit and really had to hold the door! 80 mile winds due ti hit Wales tonight - scary & cats are locked in....fingers crossed for no roof damage or anything simular...

People don't expect you to post exciting stuff day after day, it's the normal day to day stuff that makes it real:D

I am usually mostly a 'lurker' of your diary but I find it really inspiring and I now feel guilty that I don't post as you must think that few people are reading your diary but I am sure there are many of us lurkers and there are the people who do actually post on your diary regularly and also I am sure it is a guide and a way of keeping on track for you so it is NOT boring IMO so I do hope you keep it up.

Hi everyone...I think I'm in one of those fed up moods ..you know the ones where a thousand things are swimming in your head!!!
Thanks for your lovely comments...it does get lonely in here sometimes and it feels like I'm speaking to myself.
I've got to have the day off again today as the wind is atrocious!!!!...and...I cannot risk the car doors or someone suing if the door blows back on them!!!....
Debating whether to even go on this holiday to mexico or not!!!..I will have the money but feel guilty for going and am worried about the recession.DH says I can cancel if I want but I hear disappointment in his voice..we haven't had a holiday this year..and may not get a chance for another couple of years for a luxury holiday.
I have over £100 saved towards the next set of windows ..that's 2 front ones..£719 so that will be easy to get this month as I get £150 rent off DD and £140 pension off DH at end of month so not much to find....then I will order my door.

Taxi, if you want to check whether you're alone, look at the number of views - you can *see* how many people want to see what you're doing! I feel the same way sometimes, especially cos my stuff about my French apartment is a bit "out there", but the views thing really helps, as well as needing it to get my own head straight.

Mexico!!! Mexico!!! I know this is completely my own stuff, not yours, but I'd *kill* to go to Mexico. Well, I wouldn't, but I'd love to go. If you go, as I hope you will, just make the most of it - you know, don't go out there shattered so you need to sleep the first few days, research over here so you know what you want to do, that sort of thing. Create *more* memories, more bang for the buck.

Thanks Karmacat...it's all this media about recession that does my head in...will probably just go on the holiday anyway as it's not until next january.
